The Toyota Tacoma if properly cared for will run for a very long time. The truck I looked at had rust erosion everywhere. 172,000 miles and still asking $4,500 All the Tacomas Ive viewed are up there in price,they hold their value.Mar 09, 2021

First of all, bought brand new. The front end seemed and still seems loose as a crosswind can and does easily push the truck sideways. The radiator needed replacement too early...even after yearly maintenance using distilled water. Other than that it is very basic transportation. Manual transmission gets me off the line pretty quick...compared with some of today's small cars. I tried an automatic (early 00's) it felt like a go cart. Definitely needed to upgrade the stock 14" rims to 15" as there were no quality tires available in 14". Jul 19, 2012
