My Civic had been sitting out in the hot Texas heat for about 4 years, not being driven. One day we did take it out for a drive and got into a terrible wreck. The car's airbags deployed properly and no one got hurt at all. It was then that I realized the amazing safety that Honda Civics have to offer. I miss my car very much and would definitely recommend that make and model to new/inexperienced drivers because of the safety.Aug 03, 2014

This car is great for anyone needing to save gas. It is dependable, great running and slightly sporty! Perfect for young drivers or small families needing a gas saving ride. I would recommend it to any one who asks for this style vehicle.Dec 20, 2013

this has been and is the best car I own. I have new cars and I still find myself driving this one, and liking it better. it handles nicely, still in great shape and they run forever long as you keep oil changed and care for it.
going to be styling it up some with tinting windows and some spoilers and new rims.Aug 26, 2013

very nice little car good commuter good on gas and dependable feels light and nimble good play car very fun to drive must be a manual to truly enjoy and during the winter winter tires are a must and insurance cost on the four door is reasonableDec 31, 2011

fast acceleration and on the dime stop brakes. smaller car so easier handling. sturdy body. about 40 MPG and easy maintenance and havent had any major issues. Fun car to drive. it has been reliable for me the entire time I have had it. I have had to put virtually no money in this car and it always seems to run perfectly, low purchase price, decent styling.Apr 22, 2010

i like its power its good
excellent interior and exterior
need no repairs cuse it has good aintenance
its gas milage is 120/gallon
its really fun to drive and may stay min for 30 years

My civic was amazing. It was ten years old and ran great! It had decent mileage too, not that that even matters when it comes to a Honda, they run forever! There wasn't one scratch on it when I bought it.Feb 25, 2010

nice over all car only has 152 000 km on it reliable no power tho when starting out. has a sub and 10 disk cd changer. it is a 5 speed. and the 4 doors makes it easier to get in and out of.Jan 20, 2010

care of, the gas mileage is great, and it's fun to drive. I
wish it had a bigger engine then the little four-
cylinder.. but I can live I suppose haha! It's not riced

The car I should have never got rid of. It handled like a sports car. The VTEC was revvy but slow overall. The Auto transmission shifts rough but is geared well to the torqueless engine. The ride was rather rough at times but acceptable considering it handled well. I didn't realize how much I like this car until I traded it in on a 05 Toyota MatrixDec 13, 2009

20k miles done in a year with just an oil/brake pads/wipers change. No brakedowns or other surprises. Just went through NCT (Irish National Car Test - has to be done every 2 years) recently without any problems. All it costs me is petrol really, and it's not a lot neither because it needs around 7.7l for 100km (30.5mpg). Acceleration is not bad, could be better of course, but as for 1.4l engine (90HP) it's really fine. Handling is brilliant as for this class of car. Performance- breaks good, acceleration ain't too
bad, handling easy.
Build Quality-no other way to say it, but made in
Japan, its good work.
Appearance- well it is no eye sore for one thing
Cost of Ownership- 30-34 mpg (at least that's
what I get with a Cosmo Racing SRI), no major
maintenance done yet!

Keeps running with very low maintanence. very tolerant to abuse...my poort little car.
Acceleration is quite good in the class.
Handling and cornering abilities should be best in class.
A/C is quite good.

I've been the owner of this car for a little over a year now, and I must say it is a pretty neat car to drive. The d16y7 motor only puts out around 107hp stock, but with the upgrades I have, I'd say it's more around 125-130. Since the car is so light, with no power steering or air conditioning to slow it down, it accelerates is quite good, as well as the braking. The handling is good as well with the Tein lowering spring i put in. The car looks great too, with the HIDs and 15inch rims. You can't go wrong with the gas mileage either. It takes about 20 dollars to fill my tank, depending on the price of gas of course. It's an overall fun car to drive, and I would recommend it if you get one in good condition.Feb 06, 2009

He's like a magnet on the streets, great to drive, awesome to race.
It has needed several repairs but mostly just to make it look better.
I blackened both front lights and back lights.
Got a spoiler and a loud exhaust system.

This is one the best cars I have driven in a long time. It has lots of horse power for its size. Great on gas! I am getting 42mpg highway and 38mpg city! That is if I can keep myself from redlining it at every red light. I would suggest this car to almost anyone.Sep 08, 2008

Good dependable car with a humming engine and great gas mileage. What I hate is the lack of manual transmission in mine. And a coupe would be more fun. Overall Charlotte (as I call her) is a great little car. Overall this is a great car for first time drivers.Aug 19, 2008

I have owned Mercury, Honda Accord, Saturn and Honda Civic. Civic is the best in terms of reliability, maintenance, gas mileage etc. I get 36 miles per gallon in city and 40 miles per gallon on highways. Very happy to own Civic in this high gas prices era. My next car would be Honda Civic Hybrid.
