I cant say anything bad about this car, its been great. Parts have been very afordable, easy to get. The convertible makes it that much better for me. The next lucky owner will not be disappointed with this beauty. Deserves to be considered one of the best M3's of all time.May 12, 2013

Stock the e36 m3 makes a great cheap daily driver / track car. Not as aggressively styled as the 1st or 3rd gen but it gets the job done! The s50 / s52 motor is one of the more forgiving BMW motors to maintain stock.Feb 08, 2013

I cant say anything bad about this car, its been great. Parts have been very afordable, easy to get. The convertible makes it that much better for me. The next lucky owner will not be disappointed with this beauty. Deserves to be considered one of the best M3's of all time.May 12, 2013

Stock the e36 m3 makes a great cheap daily driver / track car. Not as aggressively styled as the 1st or 3rd gen but it gets the job done! The s50 / s52 motor is one of the more forgiving BMW motors to maintain stock.Feb 08, 2013

The Dinan badge on this 1999 BMW M Roadster is for real and professional upgrade costs were about $10,000.00. With that in mind this car is by no means overpriced. All

Quick, great brakes, awesome handling. good mpg, lighter than newer e46.
E36 even bests e46 in lap times the first couple e46 years despite E36 giving up 93hp.and getting 5mpg over e46. Thats BMW Awesomeness in the e36 before the bigger better trend.

Although this is not an m3 Evo as stated about, it is still a great m car. It is very agile, the power is good, and the braking is one of the best I've ever tested. Built very well as long as you take preventative messure. Love the styling is subjective, but I love the lines of the e36. The vader seats are also very sporty. Gas mileage is good for a car that has over 280 hp. I aveages 18-20 around town and close to 30 mpg on the highway. It is a blast to drive, and even after 4 years of ownership I am still having fun driving it.Jun 03, 2010

Handling that exceeds cars 10x the price, FUN and addictive to drive. Repairs are costly and frequent, but that goes the same with ANY heavily modified vehicle... Absolute blast to drive and scare the hell out of your friends when you get the chance!Nov 25, 2009

Pure top down, wind in your face, diving pleasure. There are other convertibles that offer more in the way of raw performance, but none that just work so perfectly together -- it's much more than the sum of its parts. And you can drive the daylights out of the 1.9 liter motor without losing your license.
Perfect handling, neutral to power-on oversteer. One of the best looking cars of the past 30 years. Top goes up or down in seconds -- with no complicated power mechanisms.Oct 29, 2009

bhp engine V6. Ownership not very sure, but sells
pretty good on market it keeps a good value through

i must say this is a great car except one thing, the running cost. first the tax is very high,the insurance is group 18, the petrol is expensive. i recently had 2 buy new front exhausts with catalytic converters which BMW charge £750. then there is the tyres at £600 for 4 decent 18". don't buy this car unless ur willing 2 part with alot of money. other wise buy one cus they are great 2 drive.Aug 27, 2009

Absolutely awesome all round,i loved this car and would reccomend it to anyone, performance is amazing,handling is excellent,apart from when its wet tends to be a bit flighty.build quality is excellent,maintenance costs can be expensive,depreciation can be high but what car does,nt and you tend to spend alot of time in the petrol station.Jun 29, 2009

fun car but can't rotate the tires (different sizes from front to rear), have to use premium gas. I'll never get a convertible again....you burn up in the summer, and get wind whipped. May 13, 2008

It's definitely got the looks only its owner could love, but the upside was that nothing looked like it. Peformance was exhilirating even though it only had a 5-speed manual and 240 bhp on tap.Mar 30, 2008

the E36 m3 is a great car and can be purchased for a low price, thry are an amazing handling car with almost a 50/50 waight distribution. theres a strong aftermarket for them as well, with many companys with many products to improve the performance of the car.Dec 19, 2007
