Great all-around vehicle. 300k miles. Designed to be utility vehicle. 1998-2000 years were the best.
After that the car got flu-flu re-designs.

good comfortable car, rides and handles really well. I bought the car from a lady that couldn't afford to have timing belt and resulting valve damage repaired and did the repairs myself. I have driven the car about 1000 miles with no oil consumption or loss of any fluids. I just don't need to keep it. I put in new antifreeze (Advance 50/50), and changed oil (Pennzoil 5w30 and Fram filter) when repairs were done.Mar 21, 2012

Terrific gas mileage. All "wear and tear" parts replaced and car has been very well maintained. A fun, safe and dependable ride. The AWD was great during the snow and ice. Hey! It's a Honda, what more can you say?Apr 06, 2011

under power car for a 2.o liter engine. need to have a better engine overall performance nice car to drive around the city. very comfortable even for long driving not a economical gas ideal only for long driving needs a constant maintenance for better performanceJun 07, 2010

Super dependable. fun. amazingly agile for a high center of gravity car.
I jerry rigged a cone filter to the factory inlet tube and I get up to 29 mpg highway at 75 miles per hour. my rpm at 60 mph is only 2200 rpm.Jan 30, 2010

great on gas, room and quality..just needs more power under the hood. Spacious interior..lots of neat cubbie holes..bulit in picnic table, runs great had no problems at 115,000 miles except minor normal issues. Seats that fold down are great.Aug 27, 2009

Reliable SUV which I will run to the ground. I got it certified used. Soon after we had a transmission problem and it was replaced by Honda. Since then it has been smooth sailing with this car. Road noise on the highway is an issue for me. For what it cost and the value it holds today, its a great vehicle to own. I hope that Honda comes out with a hybrid version soon.Aug 03, 2008

This car was my mothers before mine and its quality has never deteriorated. I feel safe but not a huge honking SUV like some of em out there.Mar 19, 2008

The build was incredible, extremely solid, never had to take in for ANYTHING in the 7 years I owned it. The interior was very spacious and comfortable.
The ride was safe, but the engine lacked power, acceleration was mediocre and braking was long. Handling, on the other hand, was nimble and very precise.
Very decent trunk space for its size.
I owned for several years until I left the country and bought a Mitsubishi Outlander. Overall, I'd rate the C-RV over the Outlander in terms of build, handling, fuel efficiency and overall performance.Jan 28, 2008
