1996 Audi A6 Reviews, Pricing & Specs
What owners say
"Owners of the 1996 Audi A6 appreciate its elegant style, comfortable and spacious interior, and solid build quality. Many reviews highlight the excellent fuel economy and the safety features that make driving in various conditions feel secure. However, some drivers feel the performance, particularly in acceleration, could be better, and there are mentions of power being insufficient for their taste."
I've been told that 2.8 liter v6 engine was modified from diesel engine which is so reliable. This car has never given me any trouble. When I took this car down to New Orleans for jazz festival from NY, it was raining so hard and slippery. I felt so safe and comfy inside of this car doing 80mph+ all the way.
February 5, 2008This car has heated leather seats. In the cold, it feels great. The sound system rocks. Plenty clear and loud enough for me. Plenty of room in back seat. Has a trunk extension through backseat for golf clubs or skiis.
June 18, 2013It's very good to drive, silence and nice engine! I like the quattro in the winter, and the sound of the engine when speeding. Nice look and a very good car! I like it a lot. Audi is best =D

June 14, 2009Saved my life plenty of times, has strong qualities, the performance is immaculate, it picks up fast and works like a charm, cost of ownership is cheap, just need oil changes and breaks because of rally driving. FUN CAR REALLY.
December 7, 2009Elegant styling for the time, comfortable and spacious interior, excellent build quality, great fuel consumption. Performance only average, especially acceleration.
