1996 MR2 Le Mans Turbo - great power from stand still and good traction. Rear wheel drive so great for car parks :-) Custom made exhaust that roars and pops just like an exhaust should do. Blitz dump valve with rattlesnake blow off. Brilliant.Apr 04, 2012

Oh, I loved this car. It was SO MUCH fun to drive. Fast, quick on the turns. Moon roof was nice. For a small car it was comfortable, had cruise control, really good brakes. I miss it. Little cargo space and difficult to work on if you do it yourself. Mar 26, 2010

1.6 efi engine nt too bad bt cld do beta....small interior with only a single air bag, cld still do beta. fuel efficiency is gr8 looks are cool bt more of a lady's sports car! nt expensive 2 maintain!Feb 21, 2010

Expensive on fuel and parts as most parts seem to be main dealer, average performance could do with more on acceleration, good fun to drive especially in the wet, however no abs so braking isnt what it should be. Styling is good but looking dated. May 28, 2009

Just picked up an MR-2 5spd T-tops red with tan interior and only 90k...clean and well maintained car never been in NY. Love the setup with the engine sitting right behind you. Will update once I get more time behind the wheelFeb 08, 2009

i dont like the fact that since new engine been put in i need shares in an oil company!! Great go kart, full leather, 10th anniversary Tbar Turbo (unique) plan for further mods including full suspension kit, snorkels engine lid off import turbo. Its a great car. 240 BHP Standard It sticks to the road well. You've got to to respect the back end though. Just ignore the boy racers who will always try and provoke a reaction. Easy to tune up, serious power is available just don't forget to tune the chasis. Sep 16, 2008

I bought the car over 3 years ago and put 90k on the car. Never had any problems and it was extremely fun to drive. Needed something bigger so I had to sell it. I'm sure in the future I will buy another one. It was underpowered, but the next one i get WILL but turbo.Aug 10, 2008

In short it's a great car not too bad on fuel considering the power output of the engine, it corners like it's on rails, and if you wanna put ya foot down the there's more than enough power to throw you back in ya seat. The motor is getting an upgrade as the standard 2L toesnt do it fot me any more, I am putting a 3s-gte motor in wich is a turbo motor capeble of almost 160kw standard on the flywheel. The interior is stil stock standarde wich is good enough coz it has a real sporty feel to it. The wheels are a set of 17" momo's that I had imported to fit the car, in the front it runs on 205/45/17 anr the rear on 215/40/17. The reason for this is because it is a mid engined rear wheel drive car.Apr 06, 2008

This was the first true sports car I have ever owned it was a 1998 model on a R plate I bought it when I was 22 and it was superb sadly I sold it after year as I really wanted to own a nice cabriolet. Not to worry I have two more MR2's now to play around with.Dec 03, 2007
