I like everything about this car. Great options. This car is in great condition. Has no rust, just a couple of dings. This car also has tons of extras added to it. I love this car and have had it for around 2 months now and have had absolutely no problems with it. It is my first car and I am really excited for when I turn 16. This was not a bad car for the city driving and also on the highway, it had an
awesome gas mileage, handling was fun too.
It was pretty cheap to maintain and is was very reliable.

My car has very quick acceleration, on the spot braking, and amazing handling. I don't have any problems handling because my car has power steering. My car has needed some repairs, but like all Hondas, parts are very easy to get ahold of and affordable. This is a very sound car, even on long road trips. I have taken it to New York and back with no problems. I am very pleased with the gas mileage I get out of my car. I can easily get 35 mpg. Fixing my car is about the easiest as they come. Although it may be a four door, it's very comfortable and spacious. I love driving this car! It is so much fun and it sounds great as well! Oct 31, 2011

Fun to drive and work on, had many small issues when I bought it a year ago, many of them simple fixes. Very cheap to own, parts available and affordable. Very reliable. Peppy for such a small engine. Wish I could have more time off work in order to work on it more.Jan 09, 2011

Perfomance is on par for a 1.5l Vtec, should be in the low 15's barring tracking issues. Braking is like throwing an anchor out the window. Handling is great. Build quality is top notch, im the mechanic, and i know how to do things once the right way!Apperance could be better, but i love my green and black theme. Cost of ownership is next to none, only the needed maintenance items are required, and i get upwards of 25-30 mpg if i keep my out of it. Fun factor is a pleasure to drive this car, reactive, supportive, everything i want.Jun 05, 2010

Its quick and light. Its a small car but has plenty of room for our small family. I like the motor. Its quiet unless I wind it out. Even at 7000 rpm it is very smooth. I just tinted the windows 20% all around but it needs a paint job. Its also been lowered about 1 inch with some sport springs. Ride is about the same as stock.Sep 20, 2009

Great Car!
Excellent gas mileage, zippy, reliable and sound. Small car cons include interior road noise and a sometimes a harsh ride. With a 5 speed manual, I would regularly get 40-45 on the freeway and 30 city mileage.Jan 02, 2009

Though an old type, honda civic is a very good car. Acceleration's very good as well as the overall performance! Definitely recommend it and I am planning to buy another one, newer however.!!!! It's very compact so there's no problem with parking. Also, it doesn't tilt when you turn! It's definitely great fun to ride it and it doesn't matter if you drive slowly or push it to the limits. Car is nice & spacious. with everything a luxury vehicle has with a bit of performance. 2nd owner, bout from oldish lady. a few squeeks here and there (but hey, the car is 14 years old and have done 230 000km). Performace can be better but it is still stock standard and only a 1800 and is quite heavy (weighing in at 1200kg).Aug 04, 2008

It's great on gas, accelerates quick, handles big turns at high speed very well, braking is great with the new tires on stops on the spot. The look aint bad, a few dents here and there and needs new hood, One thing I dont like about it is it didnt come with passanger mirror, but i will put one in very soon.Aug 01, 2008

Good handling but needs improvement on acceleration (duh). Pretty amazing quality...being a honda...a few rattles gained with age. It gets good gas mileage and has a fair appearance. Doesn't require much maintenance-I'd recommend it. It's a very easy/fun car to drive.Jun 29, 2008

Bought this car to get back and forth to college and that is what it did. And it did it surprisingly well with no faults. I think i was averaging around 35 mpg stock and after all modifications ended up around 28-30 mpg.Jun 05, 2008

I had this car for a little over a year before I sold it to my brother. I loved this car. It handled nice, got 40 mpg, was fun to drive, and easy to work on. Mine had a D16A6 swap and made 100 whp, it wasn't fast especially with the cx gearbox but was still fun to drive. It now has an Si tranny and is much quicker. The car was super easy to work on, I replaced the transmission and one of the axles all by myself.Feb 25, 2008

Ridiculously reliable and great on gas. Its also reasonably fun to drive, especially when 4500rpms comes around the VTEC kicks in. It gets around 30-35mpg in city or highway conditions. Furthermore its still got competitive acceleration, when from a dig the car can 0-60 in a little over 6 seconds.Jan 07, 2008

I purchased this Civic brand new in October of 1995 and still have it today. While it has gone through many styles and changes over the years (many of them embarassing and tacky LOL), I have settled into a JDM-style theme with clean lines and very mellow aesthetics. The suspension has been rebuilt and the handling level has been stepped up several notches, capable of pulling away from many more powerful cars on twisty roads or in competitive driving events. The build is currently on hold until I finish Honda Tech school for my apprenticeship. When finished, it will enjoy a significant increase in potential thanks to a RSX-S engine swap and a few more key suspension performance upgrades to take the power and handling to an incredible level, capable of leaving many powerful domestic V8's behind both in the bends AND on the straights.Dec 16, 2007
