Had this car for 2 years and put 35,000km on it. One summer it blew the water pump and timing belt. Did the head gasket at the same time. Always got me 25-30MPG in city and 40-45 MPG on the HWY.
Awesome little car, quite peppy with the 5 speed. Handled great. Let it go cause of an accident in the rear that seemed to warp the frame. Got more in scrap then I paid for it too.Sep 03, 2011

I LOVE this car. When she is shifting properly she has BALLS. And very fuel efficient for a 15 year old V-6. She has a smooth ride and all the bells and whistles. Every option that was available at the time.Jan 19, 2011

The stratus is not a bad looking car overall but you can not judge a book by it's cover....The car handles great but lacks the power to actually take the car through the whole corner,and if i half too jack the car up and take the tire off one more time,just too change or clean the terminals in the freezing cold.....i just might scrap it.So far i have not sunk much $ into it but i do all the work my self and time is money!Jan 02, 2009

This car was pretty good on gas, but it was a dodge and an autoamatic, so guess what 2 transmissions and I sent this thing packing down the road. It was the nicest car I had looks and interior wise but I have never had that many tranny problems beforeAug 08, 2008

good car, not bad on gas, really need to keep up to date with the maintance. for a 2.5l v6 it moved really well, repairs can be fairly costly as alot of its problems are difficult to fix, very nice handling and suspension.Jul 10, 2008

1995 Stratus that I've had since 2004. Has the 2.5L V6 with 65000 miles. A good, reliable car that looks pretty decent and is fun to drive.Mar 24, 2008

5 speed 4cyl has more pep than auto 4cyl but still lacks alot of pwoer. great gas mileage and pretty simple to work on. Battery is located behind the driverside wheel which is a pain in the ass to deal with. Feb 11, 2008

In Europe, this car is sold unter the make Chrysler. It's a great car with much space, well equipped, pleasant to drive with enough power in the 2.5 version. Never had any problems with it.Jan 09, 2008
