1994 Subaru Liberty Reviews, Pricing & Specs

It has a 2.2 litre flat 4, 16 valves engine. It's performance is nothing special, but it runs ok for a basic mid size sedan. It accelerates kinda average, not real quick but good enough & brakes are ok. Well it's stock & not an ideal car to race with or performance driving, but just good for normal driving from A to B. Well it's a Subaru, so the build quality is not bad. It hasn't needed much serious repairs, it only had some small services & tune ups. It recently had a timing belt replacement with new bearings/bolts. The appearance of the car is nothing flashy, but it looks well enough for a cheap sedan & I like it more than Camry or Accord. The interior looks a little luxury for '94 model, but it isn't real stunning though & it's comfy enough to drive or going for long cruises. Gas mileage and maintenance costs are pretty good for the budget, it's fuel efficient. Not really expensive to own & run it. The car runs pretty smooth and it's also not bad to drive. It's obviously not fun like a sports car, but it feels good for a first car.Oct 28, 2009
