cooked it 4 days after i bought it. i had it at 220km/hr so the speedo was true unlike many, after i cooked it, it was reconditioned (pre mechanics days) 3 times b4 it was good again so it cooked 2 more times (thermostat back to front 'lmao' and metal shaving blocking oil port to big end) after all that it never got over 190km/hr. the EJ22 was a good enough engine but it was my 1st car and was bound to get hammered. it was an automatic and i used the selecter like a clutchless manual (it had a manual button?!?) i replaced cv joints atleast once every 6 months it was FWD
