An excellent vehicle that dodge should never have replaced with the dodge avenger.
For a 90s car they got style correct with this vehicle.
A very fun car to drive. Its quick, sounds good, and in most cases easy to work on.Feb 19, 2012

I really liked everything about this car even though their are cons I really am not giving more than one person a ride and avoid carry a lot of crap that weighs me down. This is my first car and will be a car I will keep and make a tuner show car over time.Sep 07, 2011

this car is not my favorite so far it has alot of issues i feel that im going to have to spend alot of money to repair everything, it will be a great daily driver after i get the motor running rite but im not sure what the problem is.Sep 05, 2011

Performance - Buy a turbo version of this car; I guarantee you never drove anything close to it.
Build Quality - Not sure how I can comment on this when it is 16 years old. This car is really expensive to repair.
Appearance - Nothing is sexier than a Dodge Stealth/ Mitsubishi 300gt
Cost of Ownership - Like I said it is expensive to fix. I get about 24 mpg driving a mix of city highway.

Its a manual so thats a plus right there, its pretty fun to drive
around though. The engine is pretty good its a V6 and I'm sad
its not the AWD Turbo version. The minus I have is the fact on
how cramped it is, my last car was a Cadillac so this was
defiantly a shocker to see that I have to Squeeze myself into
the car. Another minus is how Hard it is to find parts and
manuals for this car! Overall it is fun to drive and is pretty

With a few pricey modifications the performance is outstanding for the price and gas mileage. The SOHC itself doesn’t have all that much power, but like I said with a few modifications it can be quite fun. The build quality is good. The engine rarely has issues, but the interior electronics suck, or at least mine do…some one really screwed up the wiring. The gear box really sucks on the manual model. I don’t know how it is on the automatic is. If you are a casual driver the gear box is fine and easy but if you are like me and use every bit of horse power it’s got… rebuilding the transmition and gear box is recommended…if you can afford it. The interior is good although I think the rear of the car could be built a little bit more solid. I personally think that the car is amazing looking inside and out. It is no Ferrari but it looks good for a Dodge. The gas mileage is good as long as you take it easy on the gas. Full throttle it gets about 6 to the gallon but highway it gets 23. There is a down side….the parts for this car are expensive and are hard to find. The car is very fun, but then again I put racing suspension on it so ya. I recommend getting one cheep and putting some cash into it.Oct 29, 2009

appearance will be to my satisfaction after this winter. new front bumper which just shows off that beaaaut intercooler a little more. racing seats will be an addition plus some other under-the-hood trinkets;) she's a monster! hopefully 400 whp by the end of the winter, and then the next winter its bigger turbos;) built from a R/T non-turbo stealth, it was hand built by myself to the twin turbo monster it is now. the transmission is the AWD turbo 5 spd, but i've taken it apart and converted it to FWD. (i dont have the AWD subframe and rear end to make the car AWD). I went with this transmission because it can handle any power im going to throw at it...which will be around 500 eventually!:) real interested in any turbo stealth/vr4 3000gt donor cars for the drivetrain parts though...give me a shout if youve got something!Oct 10, 2009

even though it is only a 3.0L it has 222hp which is more than enough to smoke a honda... the clutch takes a little time to get use to but eventually you will get the hang of the touchy clutchFeb 05, 2009

This car looked really nice when it was cleaned up. Unfortunately I could only afford the base model (it might have been the RT as it had a spoiler, but I don't remember). The car was very reliable and I don't recall any problems with it. The handling was quite good, and the acceleration was pretty good but in the base model it didn't match the racy looks of the car. Of course, had I paid another $8k I could have gotten the twin turbo model (which was a pretty dang fast car). It was an enjoyable car though. It was pretty good in the snow too as it was a front wheel drive. The insurance wasn't too bad either. I liked this car, but the amount of time I spent in traffic eventually made me decide to move away from a manual transmission to an automatic.
Nowadways the turbo models are affordable, so I'd recommend spending the extra dough and get that car.

oh man i loved this car for many reasons. one being that it was the first car i ever bought by myself. two being the amazing performance that it gave me with super fast top speeds and quick and amazing handling. it was dark green with beige cloth seats that were incredibly comfortable. i bought it for $9500 back in 2002 and it only had 82,000 miles on it. i wish i still had this beauty in my life, i guess i will just have to find another one just like it!!Jul 20, 2008

What a monster that thing could rip the pavement off. 0-60 in less than 3 seconds. I really miss it but at least it went to car heaven (I hit a deer). Oops. This i the car to get when you have the opportunity to buy it. I was lucky enough to get mine for less than 15K, but that is rare if it's in as good of condition as mine was. When you step foot into this car you automaticly feel like a racer. What with the sweet gadges and the low stance it feels like your in a much more expensive car. Not only does it look cool but it is a rocket, surpassing many cars with the same price range even with out the TT.Apr 01, 2008

This was my second car and I could not have asked for a better one. This car was fast compared to my first car, 5-speed manual, and had super-sleek looks to boot. It was super-reliable, I had the car for almost a year and a half and only had it in the shop once. I always got looks in this car driving around, however I also got my first ever ticket in this car, luckily it wasn't while I was going 140(it's top speed from drag). Feb 16, 2008

The Dodge Stealth is a sports car and nothing else, the handling is great the brakes stop you quckily and its a blast to drive. Its interior is just average, its radio is really bad and this car is kind of old. Those aside this car is a great ride and i love it Feb 08, 2008
