The Stealth was a unique car back in the day. I can't say it was the most reliable (i.e. oil leak, brakes, etc) but it got me where I needed to go safely. The replacement parts for this car are fairly inexpensive also, which made the repairs manageable.Sep 06, 2012

So far since I've had this car, its been very reliable and wall maintained from the previous owner (95,067 original miles). I love the fact that it has the power when I need it, but also a good over all drive. The only thing that kind of erks me is the fact that the back seats are pretty much non-functional. The space in the hatch is pretty much useless too. Now I know its a sports car first and everything else second so it doesn't bug me too much.Apr 11, 2012

A perfect example of a Japanese "GT" car. This car handles well, has excellent power, hauls enough cargo to make it useful as a daily driver and fun vehicle, and looks excellent. Picked this up to replace the MR2 and was delighted to find one from Arizona in such great shape. For a 20 year old vehicle, build quality is top notch. Oct 26, 2011

Overall, I'm happy to have purchased the car. I've never owned a sports car before this, and it was a good first choice. Obviously, the drawbacks are the high costs of maintaining the vehicle, and the fact that it only gets about 18miles to a gallon on the street. But, when you drive it around and you feel like your back in 1992, the time machine aspect makes all the worry about owning such a mechanically despised car disappear. acceleration is fast and the maintenance on this car is kinda expensive but what do
you expect from a car that is almost 20 years old but the car is a blast to drive and

I really enjoy this car. I love the stance that it has when you see it driving
down the road, and he horsepower that it has when you need it. It has
great acceleration and handling, but lacks somewhat in braking power,
mainly because of the rotors that I have on the car. The car just looks
good coming towards you on the road, and sounds great when it goes by

I purchased this car on in late September 2006 with 50,800 miles on it.
The Stealth was produced from 1991-1996 and shares the same
platform/interior/engine from the Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4, which
endured until 1999. This car was way ahead of its time. It featured all
wheel drive, twin turbos, twin intercoolers, passive rear wheel steering,
digital climate control, adjustable exhaust note, adjustable suspension,
cd player, and power everything. 300hp/307lbs torque.

The car is a great car.It handles great. it has a sport supension underneath it. It has a 3.0L V-6 DOHC puttin out at least 220HP. It has a 5-SPEED transmission. It has four wheel disc breaks so the stopping power is great. It has only needed jus the basic repairs for a 18 year-old car. it gets great gas milage for bein a sports car. and u get this car on some windy roads u will have yourself one hell of a time. I've owned the R/T Turbo since '91...pristine, 60K miles, keep getting offers to sell it. Acceleration is still scary when you put the "pedal to the metal" even after almost 19 years! Spends a lot of time in the garage these days. Handling is superb. Most cons have been already covered. I had trouble from day one with computer...hesitation when engine cold. Took over 12 years and two replacements before it was resolved. Mechanics don't know much about this car. It's not a family car for sure. Mar 14, 2010

overall i love this car its a fun drive.
performance there is no lack of it.
build quality its a 3000gt with a dodge name on it the car is still built n japan.
cost performance parts r very expensive but they didnt make these for 10 to 15 years.

My car is a nice lookin car!! its in great condition and is very
fast! 0-60 in 5 sec. umm so the only downer is that it takes
premium unleaded gas only which is rather expensive and to

The Stealths and 3000GTs are beautiful but they come with a price. The electrical wiring degrades over time and creates starting problems and whatnot. They are sports cars. Even the base models need to be taken care of as sports cars. The interior is definitely the best design I've seen yet. Everything is placed perfectly inside it. It's a cockpit. All in all, I recommend the upper models (R/T, R/T TT, VR-4, SL), teh back seats are good for a bag of groceries and the body styling is beautiful. Sep 03, 2008

This is my baby and I have owned her for over 5 years and she is good on gas, great on performance, and amazing on looks. I have rarely had to repair anything on her. Just normal maintenance. I need to repair one window motor but that is it. She is quick on acceleration, holds corners well, and tops at 265km/h. She looks amazing inside and out.
I would recommend this car for daily fun driving to and from work, or whatever. Just not the car for offroad. That is why I own a jeep tj.Aug 23, 2008

Gorgeous 92' Stealth R/T TT AWD, really fun to drive, fast as hell, looks great while doing it, downsides come with age and adding power to it. The one I drove puts 300 hp to the tires, it has had 3 transfer cases, two clutches, it goes through about a case of power steering fluid in 3 to 10 days depending on how often its driven, the power makes it unable to drive in snow.Mar 17, 2008

It started as a non turbo R/T model. I converted it to FWD TT and used an AWD Getrag transmission converted FWD. I parted the car out after a spun bearing in the engine.Feb 04, 2008
