They didnt make enough numbers to make itncheap to fix this var if it breaks down, fortunately its reliable but still...not a good market for modding this car. A good car that had too many corners cut by toyota. Good engine but no upgrades available, crappy suspension, cheap interior parts and almost no conveniences in a car in a refined sporty commuter car is almost ridiculous but toyota did it.
May have seened like a joke in 1993, but a paseo is better, as quiet as, and better handling than many cars they make today, over 20 years later. But no, I am not changing my mind, the suspension ina paseo is a major joke, I have spent more money on suspension than anything else except for gasoline.
Jowever, its a good car to own, just dont do anything fancy and you wont have to fix anything.Jun 07, 2014

I like the overall appearance of the car. It handles really well and its good on gas. I've been the owner of my Paseo since 93. It has been a great car. I have 266,000 miles on the car and it runs better than my 2002 vehicle. People are always wanting to buy it from me. She's not for sale she is a part of the Family!Jun 16, 2010

This car was owned by my grandfather and is smoke filled and has bra lines permanently etched into the paint because the bra wasn't taken off once in 10 years. It's a solid manual, no issues with performance and build quality, the paint is fading from lack of wax for years, gets excellent gas mileage, and is fun to drive considering it's my first manual.Jun 23, 2009

A great ltiny car -- that has plenty of room for two -- as it being a true 4-seater back seats are uncomfortable. And you will hit your head once or twice on a trip if your in the back -- so stick your asshole tall friend in the backseat and try to go over as many bumps as possible. It handles rather well -- Performance is par with comparable cars -- I had it up to 115mph in fifth and i had room togo and all but not enough room. The five speed is smooth but revs higher then you'd like to at highway speeds (60 mph at 2800 rpm sucks). And best of all its great on gasJun 09, 2008
