Recently been resprayed all over and fitted with a Top Secret body kit.
Performance is stock turbo and ECU, puts out 200 rwkw.
No mechanical issues as it is always very well maintained and loved.
Very reliable and very fun to drive. Sep 19, 2012

If your looking for something different that looks great, handles great as well as has rather large power stock then Japanese or as many refer to them (JDM-Japanese Domestic Motor) cars are definitely the way to go. I started building my car two years ago and so far this is what it has become. Pro drifting in my own rather cheap 1993 skyline has never been better. Great car and tons of fun. If interested in one for your own I import them out of Japan and you won't be disappointed.Feb 07, 2012

its a skyline, nothing left to say really. They are played out here in BC and most people would cringe knowing what i plan to do with it. All suspension mods have been done to achieve even alignment at super low ride height and still keep the car fun to drive. Currently i run -1 camber front and rear and have modified front knuckles to get the aggressive steering angle every drifter is looking for. This thing has zero rust on it, but by the end of this season im sure it will have a battle wound or two. This will be my daily for the summer, after which i plan to tear it down over winter and use as track only drift car with somesort of truck/suv as my daily. Engine is basically stock, with splitfire coilpacks 3" straight piped exhaust and a cone style intake filter.Runs stock boost 10-12 psi with an ATS 2 way rear diff, this thing gets sideways quite nicely and is more than reliable. If you care about gas milage, buy a prius or a civic lol, these things werent designed to be economical.Feb 03, 2012

From the moment you turn the key in this machine you are off on an adventure. Acceleration has you pushed back into your seat and brakes (thankfully) are ultra efficient.Love the low driving position and the fact that you can throw it around bends.Feels very solid and safe with the monstrous bonnet stretching out in front of you.In my opinion, the exterior styling is top notch...classic and elegant. The interior is smart, very comfy seats and no flashing dials or knobs...totally functional. Power and snow buttons are there to apparently aid different driving situations....ha ha this car hates.....or is that loves? the snow. Rear wheel drive means you can round a bend and meet your arse coming back!!!!! This is not a car for tight wads. The mpg is ridiculous....couldnt tell you what it is....my theory is if u need to count it..you cant afford it. So, just keep topping her up and have the funnest ride of your life. I even look forward to driving to tesco now..and thats saying something!!!!Oct 20, 2011

The Nissan Skyline GT-R is a drivers car. If you've ever felt the need to push hard through a corner while retaining comfort and confidence, then the GTR is the car for you! Incredibly powerful but sedate when need be.May 04, 2011

Performance - acceleration, braking, handling, what more do you need
Ford and holden need to work on their power to weight ratio rather than stuff 500kg of electric seats and other usless parts in their performance model's
2 litre's is all you need to go fast, 5.4l and 6l is just a waste of oxygen that my skyline could put to better useMar 29, 2010

Performance - acceleration 7/10 , braking 7/10 , handling 8/10
steers better than a car this size should
Build Quality - Very good, surprised how strong !
Appearance - mid 90's :/ the correct ride and some propperly
selected wheels made it much better !
Cost of Ownership - the best bang for your buck you can get
at the moment
Fun Factor - would have 250+kw at the wheels and it drives like
new !!! what more could I ask ! :)Oct 20, 2009

Just an ammense Car. Acceleration was out of this world would rival all the more exspensive cars. brakes were spot on. handling was brilliant after the 18" wheels where put on, but also good on standard 16's. Car was an animal in the rain nothing but opposite lock.. Aug 02, 2009

steering collum is on wrong side. everything is in japanese. its fast and exotic though, i love it. all stock GTS-T. gauges are in metric so it can be hard. extremely fast. bone stock. Plenty of room for a coupe, plenty of luxuries. Its a R33 Skyline, need i say more?Jul 20, 2009

Overall nice car. Its about what I expected. The car is pretty much a 8.5/10 for me, no thanks to the weight of the vehicle. YOU try running with a buddy on your back and see if you can accelerate at full potential :(Jul 03, 2009

The performance of Skyline is just simply amazing, with very little money, you could have this amazing sports car. I drove a R33 GTS-T auto one, it goes 8.2 sec from 0-100km/h without modification on my timing, after putting in front-mounted intercooler and full exhaust system, which only cost around au$2500, it goes 6.2 sec from 0-100km/h! Had too much fun with it and sold it for good!Jun 16, 2009

It WAS exciting to drive but I have now gotten used to it. I would love it more if it was a GTR though. It is rather impractical cause it is a little too low... can't drive it on the beach or down dirt roads...oh and I can't put it in my girlfriends garage either. But for the age of the car it goes well so I can't complain really.Jun 10, 2009

performance-fast chip exhaust filters boost at 1.4 bar. build quality- very good solid usual nissan. apperance-dark gray blacked out windows big rims bigger rear spoiler. cost-very expensive lead right foot means below 15mpg. fun factor-top best ever remove the 4x4 relay mega power+2wheel drive a must not for the faint hearted. 690bhp say no more.......Oct 14, 2008

The fact that it's in a million peices and it's difficult to get anything for it or off anyone without being robbed!!! It goes like a train and the handling is unbeleivable but the brakes aren't as good as they could be! Build quality mechanically is fantastic but trim wise it's shocking! Appearance is inthe eye of the person viewin...i love it but a lot of people hate it! Expensive to own and does about 30 to the Gallon if you drive like a girl and when you use it it does 8 to the gallon! There isn't a car for the money anywhere as good as one of these!!!Aug 31, 2008

Rear wheel drive with 250bhp as standard, have added a couple of mods and got it up to about 280 - fast enough for me! Styling is a bit bland after the Supra and doesn't feel as well made, but is great fun to drive. Boring plasticky JapCrap interior, with cloth seats and none of the toys the Supra has as standard such as cruise control, lumbar support, heated mirrors etc. But you forget all that when you are driving it.....Jan 28, 2008
