Such a great car to own and drive. The AWD and AWS makes the car rocket off the line and handle like a car half of it's size. Something that's great on a race track. Little big for auto cross, but phenomenal driver. It even get's me about 25 miles per gallon.May 16, 2012

nice. Runs premium gas unfortunately. Mine is a manual and is extremely fun to

Awesome. Twin-turbo, twin inter-coolers, all wheel drive, all wheel steering, dual electronic exhaust, electronic suspension, Active-Aero front and rear and more! Lots of power and hugs the road at very high speeds (155mph was my max). Not for short track racing, but hard to beat on the highway or distances.Dec 01, 2011

wonderfull car, amazing top speed and acceleration, i like its style ,cost is
good, i think you should buy and drive . exterior styling is awsome, it is so fast but
breaking may be better. maintance is expensive but you can find any parts for

To start its a dope car to have, a little
expensive on gas seeing that its at 4$ a
gallon. (I think its worth it tho) Haven't had
a hard time finding parts or mods at a decent
price. Handles heavy, but its quick for its
weight. Has no problem getting 110+ on an open
freeway. As of right now its not to pretty cuz
its needs to be taken to a bump n paint shop,

Pretty quick for a stock car. Enjoyable to drive and never really a boring car. Premium gas is not fun but worth it. Interior feels like a cockpit with everything centered around the driver. Styling of the car is great and the lines on the car really give it a sport lookNov 16, 2010

Its currently being rebuilt due to the intake valves being bent and high milage. My current plans are upgraded turbos and support. Ill more than likely be running piggy back, something like a SAFC 2\3. If all goes according to plan, it should be running just in time for the end of summer and MOD (Mitsubishi Owners Day).Jul 20, 2010

I've had my SL for about 6 months now and I like it a lot. When i first got it, I honestly wasn't happy with it because within a week of having the car I had to replace the master and slave cylinders and then about a month after that I had to put a whole new clutch kit in. Since the new clutch kit was installed however, I couldn't be happier with it. I have also put a cat back exhaust sytem on and was very pleased with the sound I got. Parts for the car are pretty pricy though, but this is true with any Mitsubishi. Other than that, I am very pleased with my car.May 20, 2010

This is a great first vehicle for those who never drive a standard. The clutch is simple and the gearbox is well designed. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd are the power gears with 4th, 5th, and other models 6th being the top speed gears. The car really goes fast and the retail market on these older cars is still very high.Aug 17, 2009

It was a great car, it just didn't have enough power and the parts for it are expensive. The ineterior was pretty decent tho and drives str8 in the winter. Not too many are around anymore and they will stand out. Some dumbass girl might even ask you if its an old ferrari if you hide the badgesJul 25, 2009

For a first car it's pretty cool, it has good acceleration and it has flip up lights. Best of all it's a manual. The car is fun to drive, but not fun to ride in as you feel every bump in the road. The only major expenses I have had was overhauling the break system and new tires. Jul 15, 2009

Fun around corners and good acceleration on straights, good bodywork and jap motors rarely go wrong it's just all the other parts. Gets me where I want to go . . . . quickly! Thirsty on fuel consumption and oil. Love her to pieces tho and gets a few looks ;)Jul 10, 2009

It's been wrecked.. what can I say. I've had it about 3 years now. Been on the road maybe 4 months out of those years. In good condition they are aweomse to drive. They handle well, plenty of power from stock, and look amazing. There are lots of aftermarket performance parts out for them too.May 02, 2009

I really love the looks of the car, and the performance is good. Online est say 300hp for this year but I'd say around 250-280hp b/c of the age. It handles well, and the AWD really gives it a jump off the line, and does well in snow! haha I only wish the A/C clutch wouldn't squeek after it rains or the lifters wouldn't knock, but I'm replacing the stock lifters with Big Bore ones, should solve the problem.Apr 24, 2009

this is one of the best cars that Mitsubishi ever made it has great performance it accelerates quick and handles really good the only maintenance the car really needs is the timing belt needs to be changed every 60k it gets pretty good gas millage 18 mpg over all i love my car and its fun to drive Oct 01, 2008

Massive acceleration, excellent braking, light handling. Lovely dump valve fitted and powerful twin turbos. Solid, heavy car, for its age, interior trim is in very good condition. Leather seats, digital temperature/air conditioning display, central locking, aero spoiler, air conditioning, low profile tyres, alloys, racing gear stick. No repairs needed. VERY fun to drive! AWD AWS TT What else can i say. This car is so high tech for its year. Adjustable rear and chin spoiler. You can change the suspension from cruise to stiff. Over 40 mph the rear tires also turn! You can turn one side of the exhaust on or off for diff sporty sound. This car would rip by everyone whether it was 90 degrees out of in the middle of a blizzard. I MISS THIS CAR SOO MUCH. Beautiful ride with good performance. Accelerates well with good breaking. It's a fairly solid car that hasn't needed a whole lot. I bought the car with about 126,000 miles on it so obviously it wasn't perfect. The car has a beautifully designed look to it with a nice interior as well. It is a lot of fun to drive, only problem is that some things are expensive to fix. I would recommend this car to other people but only those who could afford it.Jul 01, 2008

What can I say? I moderately customized 3000GT VR4 pushing over 400AWHP. The car looks like the exotic sport cars of the 90s and outperforms one hundred thousand dollar cars of today. The car turns heads everywhere I go and "car guys" give me props whenever I pop the hood, I even had a guy in a Ferrari tell me he wouldn't race me out of fear of being embarrassed.Apr 10, 2008
