Nice ballanced car with a nearly bullet proof 2.5L V6 with room for modification one of the nicest leather interiors of the 90's and a verry unique body Its not the fastest car on the planet but is verry fun when you twist the revs to 7K and hear the noise this thing makes it can only be described as a cross between the note of the VQ35 from the 350Z, the 2JZGTE from the supra, and the RB26DETT from the GTR34(only without the power LOL)May 13, 2011

WHAT CAN I SAY I LOVE THIS CAR IN EVERYWAY... This car has been nothing but good to me in everyway.. Taking it to the track and beating a turbo 240sx was the highlight of my night. Im going to be amazed of the power its going to put out once im running 20lbs of boost.. 265HP now and 400HP on the way... Awww that just gives me shivers... Even with a klze jspec conversion the ol' mx6 was sluggish, and loses a lot of power in fith. transmission seals dont hold up too well. id lovde to own anoter one eventually. it didnt help that the car was pretty beatAug 28, 2010

Super fast car for having a ford V6 motor in it. The only thing i did for this car to rerpair it was a new distributor well until it craped out going down the 85 but i finally gave up on fixing it not enough time or money, Car looked real good except for the paint having cancer but it had a coo shape to it. only bad thing is the japanese ecu is in the car and they have there cars limited to 118mph.but they get more hp.i have an aftermarket body kit.so it does look pretty good.doesnt cost much to drive.its alot of fun to run the rpm's up to 6ish.redline's at 7.dont wanna get to close.she's oldJul 12, 2010

Performance: nice and quick down low Build quality: Sturdy Mazda quality. Appearance: Ricer Cost of ownership: Bought the car in bad shape spent thousands on getting it to run right. Was reliable once everything was fixed. Fun Factor: great to drive, Had many great times in this car!Jun 11, 2010

Love my car. I can't show the proper love for my car, while I'm not in work. I've done sever repairs for it. Including Rack and pinion, Engine, clutch. Soon as I get to work the exhaust is next. But, really the whole car is next. May 29, 2010

i love this car. i put a single turbo has around 250 hp. its fast and fun to drive. its lowerd 1 inch, handles great. i love driving it. its so fun, the feel of the turbo kicking you back in your seat. such satisfaction. not to mention the look on other peoples faces when i destroy there car in a race.Nov 09, 2009

very very fast.I could take turns doing 120 mph and it stuck to the road like super glue.It had a bosy kit, short ram intake, full 3 inch racing exhaust, leather seats, 5 speed manual, angel headlights and mazda rx-7 style tailights, lowered sitting only 4 inches off the ground.Very comfortable ride with leather bucket seats and cruise control.v-6 2.5 liter decent gas milage.since it was lowered I needed new front tires almost every other month.This was by far my favorite car that I have ever owned.Oct 07, 2009

rebuilt the engine had cold air intake and headers i liked the leather, sunroof, rims, and the head lights gave it that little bit of look and didnt like the paint it was faded it had some rust and some crackes the window was pretty bad too Aug 27, 2009

my mx6 has a 24 valve v6 with DOHCs and it has balls. as you can prob. see in other reviews they are fun to drive because it is a 5 speed manual and again has balls. mine gets 26 mpg. and still has balls at 90 mph. smokes tires fairly easy too. i LOVE it.Feb 04, 2009

This car is the tits. Its a smaller car though so whoever wants to sit in the back get ready to hit ur head on the ceiling haha. its bad ass though i have it straight piped with a cannon on it so it sounds excelent. Im trying to break my record of 5 car alarms set off. they go off when i drive by haha. iv yet to soup it up this fall.. i want to get it goin faster than 140 cuz thats as fast as i got it going so far. my plan is to overhaul it,knife edge the crank,headers,balance it out,cold air, chip it, and port the heads.Sep 17, 2008

The best touring/sports car in its range! It drives perfectly, with ample torque. The trunk is huge compared to other cars in its class. The only problem is that it breaks a lot! Every time something brakes, I promise myself that I will sell it, but when I get it fixed I'm in love again :)Aug 18, 2008

This was my first car, my baby, my love. She was slow, unreliable, expensive, and had way too many miles on her, but I miss her. Something was special about her, and I have only came close to it with the SHO I just got. I rate it higher than I should because it has, and always will have, a special place in my heart. She had a leaky head gasket, bad brakes, and I didn't know how to do anything to stop any of those problems. So she died. She died a horrible, painful death.Apr 29, 2008

My 93 Mazda mx-6 was one of my favorite cars, but I never quite got her off the ground, and if I had, I imagine she would have been quick. Learned how to drive a stick in this car, when it was owned previously by a friend. Regret not putting the time into this car.Apr 12, 2008

Purchased my MX6 with 69kfor a paltry $4000 during my senior year of high school in early 2000. Replaced clutch and upgraded to Borla exhaust after 75k. Although I didn't treat the car as nicely as I should have, it held up for over two years worth of abuse. On a trip from Pittsburgh to Orlando, I averaged close to 40 mpg, and only had to fill up twice (Pittsburgh, PA and Charlotte, NC) at an average (driving) speed of close to 90 mph. I had the DOHC 2.0 Liter which looked fast, sounded fast, but was not all that fast. It threatened to get me into trouble a few times just because it was a sporty looking car. It survived several years when I got it WELL used. Wasn't much left of the car when I got it and there was almost nothing left when I was through. Not a terrible car... but it's still just a re-badged Ford Probe.Mar 26, 2008

Smokes V6 Tiburons, any stock eclipse and most everyday tuners that you might come along. This car runs 16.0's all day long which isnt fast but its not terrible for a FWD. Very long gearing makes this car a blast to drive. Jan 07, 2008

i love my car, it gets 28 to 30 mpg. if you pop the clutch you can do a burn out, and then shoot of like a rocket. if shifted properly it is quite quick, when shifted poorly it is quite a dog and might bite hard. if you like a quick car that is not going to destroy your wallet id say to buy this car, then add aftermarket performance parts. if i had the money id completely restore this care and drop as much money as i could into is car.
