I love this car with all my heart! its a mk2 so obviously there's some issues but its no big deal. The greatest thing about this car is that its stick! its also my first bought car, so what could be better than that???May 11, 2011

This car's got tons of power once you get it up to highway speeds. When you floor the gas, it's like a drug. You can't get enough of it. On top of that, it sounds nasty as hell! The vr6 engine conversion made a huge difference, and also makes it a sleeper for people who don't know what it is!Nov 05, 2010

There is nothing to dislike about this light, turn hugging, torque spitting sleeping beast. Althought breaks could use some aftermarket work. Fun car to drive. Big bumper set-up with mud flaps make for dropped wide body look. Not your everyday obnoxious sounding 4 banger! turns heads too. Jul 07, 2010

Recaro seats are perfection. handles amazing (insane since I
added Coilovers and Neuspeed sways/roll bars). TT exhaust is
meaty. Classic GTI styling. Much cooler than every VW that has
been released after this car (Corrado exception 92-94). Roomy,
Rides Nice, Sounds Nice... is there a better car?
Best GTI made.

It is great looking car with passat synchro wheels wrap with205/55/15 gt racing tires, red with black trim and interior is amazing with recaro seats. it is very fast and fun to drive with a 1.8l 8 valve 5 speed transmision. just a fun great car.Sep 14, 2009

Twas a red one and she was excellent, had an amazing feel for the road. They just don't build cars like this one anymore. It wasn't the fastest car on the road, but if you want to have fun no matter what speed you're at, this is the car for you. Sorry, but it only comes with a manual tranny.Dec 20, 2008

No, seriously. It is. This is the epitome of classic german automotive styling. Compact, AERODYNAMIC (Lower drag coefficient than a corvette! hahaha), quick, comfortable.

Turned an old GTI into a slick little go cart. Leather passat seats bolt in with minor mods to frame rails, full flares and skirts from 16V Jetta, new panels & paint all over, adjustable suspension, all wheel discs, Borla exhaust & 17" FRD wheels w/ Yoki Parada rubber... by far the best street tires I have ever owned. Highly recommended car... turbos bolt in easy & increase power as much as you want & clans & clans of people follow these things like mad.Aug 24, 2008
