Performance- basic brakes (no ABS), no servo but very easy ti handle. With only 750 kg body a really agile and fast little devil.
Build Quality- interior hasn't gone down in 19 years, it has problems with the bumbers (need extra attachment to the body).
Appearance - a nice looking car, nothing special, basic interior but very good materials used. Even though it looks a small car it is extremely spacy inside.
Cost of Ownership - from 5.5 up to 7l per 100km. Extremely cheap to maintain (change of oils only required last few years). No major problems.
Fun Factor - 1.3l 75 hp engine is quite enough for the coupe. You can really have good fun when u "push the pedal to the metal" and still will get moderate petrol consumption quite a lot of acceleration and a lot of fun.Oct 30, 2009

From a basic Swift GTI, to what it turned into. The damn thing was quick after the Turbo Conversion. With 200 + whell horse ppower, it turned into a real animal. Was extremely quick and fun, but nasty torque steer when you really planted the right foot :).Oct 19, 2009

Performance - Slow acceleration (only 4 cylinders), handling is a little lose after
years of driving (180,000+ miles), but works great for its age
Build quality - Only have had to repair it after auto accidents, sturdy
construction. Only issue is that the fan belt is squeaky and not sure how to fix.
Not recommended for speeds exceeding 55 mph, as the car starts rattling.
Appearance - Not exactly what one thinks of as a 'chick-magnet', though every
girl I've met absolutely loves this little car (my guess is they find its size cute).
The interior is quite primitive, but it serves its purpose well.
Cost of Ownership - Extremely fuel-efficient, easy to maintenance, cheap tires
due to small size, all in all, not expensive to maintain.
Fun Factor - I absolutely love driving this car. It's a 5-speed manual, small,
maneuverable, and it has the best turning radius out of any car I've ever
driven. Sep 08, 2009
