my grand prix was always fun to drive and i felt confident when driving it, it had a
very spirited v6 and the car was very cheap to maintain i really liked the full
length tail lights and front light-bar but really wanted traditional fog lightsFeb 19, 2014

The 4th year for the W body platform, gone were the modular front headlights on the coupe models, being replaced by miniquads, the flanks got a new *boy racer* plastic cladding added to them, first year for the GTP & the GT.
The electrics were prone to problems if one had the electric lumbar seats and the airbags for the headrest would often leak & deflate, the seats themselves are a blessing for long distance drives, one can set then to whatever one needs to get comfortable in them, the headlights leave something to be desired (mini quads), they just don't throw a good beam for viewing at night, the heater tubing/hose routing caused the supply side to rot because of it's location to the passenger side front wheel and the mud & debris thrown up on it. The cars that were equipped with the power moonroof are definitely a *want list* feature.
Overall I like the model, no car is perfect, I always will despite it's shortcomings.Jun 21, 2013

The power of the 3.4 DOHC was decent, not the fastest car out there but what you loose in power it makes up for in handling. The independent suspension with disc brakes at all four corners helps the car carve. I really liked the HUD (Heads up Display) on these cars. This car got about 32 mpg average. (My other 3.4's are lower at around 26 mpg.) Change the oil on this motor often and it will be good.Apr 19, 2013
