was good back in its time, with upgrades she would be better than most basic models these days, the sound system is definitely out of date, the body is a good overal shape, this is a reliable car that i am proud of owningOct 20, 2011

I bought a caged 5-speed cressida from california with the stock 7mge in it and I brought it back to wisconsin to undergo the engine swap. Currently wiring the motor but other than that everything is all set to go. I can't wait to get into some drift events and finally enjoy my cressida.Oct 15, 2010

Two years ago I bought the car from the original owner. It's
now got 78,000 miles. Some overheating and missing
problems. Just a fun, tight car to drive. My mechanic thinks it
should run forever. I think it still looks pretty good. I think the
CD (skips) is about the only thing that doesn't work reliably.
About 19 - 20 around town on regular; definitely better on the
freeway. Plenty zippy for me.Aug 31, 2009

The most comfortable car i have ever had.
Ok power (still got the turbo in the garage) nice apperence.
The only downside is the slugish auto transmission, hopfully i will get an r154 manual transmission in the future.

This is a 1990 Cressida Grande. It is in completely original condition and is fully loaded. As standard it has power windows, electric mirrors, electric sunroof, power adjust driver seat, tilt column steering, cruise control, climate control, six speaker stereo with in dash CD and tape player, climate control and the list goes on.......
It runs a 3 litre in line six cylinder with double over head cam and fuel injection. Transmission is a 4 speed auto with overdrive and ECTS and backed up by a limited slip diff in the rear.
Outside the car has been to refered to as a Grampa car but its style grows on you and its paint job is still as shiny as the day it rolled of the assembly line.
Overall i love this car. On the open road it has the power to compete with V8s and at the traffic lights its accelaration will make your head snap back against the seat.May 23, 2008

This car has the same drive train as the Toyota Supra sports car, 3.0L DOHC 24 valve inline six, although not available with the turbo or the manual transmission in the US (Older models with the 5MGE engine were available 5 speed in the US). It's not as fast as I thought it would be, but it gets up and goes pretty well, and handles well for a car it's size.May 10, 2008
