its a 4 cylinder cressida, the pick is quick for an average street car, brakin is good, handling is better, a very strong car 1 of the strongest toyota has ever made, no repairs as yet otha dan in the axel after i chrashed it, the interior is pretty plain not really fancy or nethin the same applies for the exterior. the milage is the best part in this car .goes abt 400km to the tank. i think is a really fun car to drive along with its ssister car the 6 sylinder 1994 cressida.Aug 23, 2009

I drove a Toyota Cressida during my last week in
Desert Storm. I was sent north (from Port of Dammam,
Saudi Arabia) to look for a piece of military equipment
that was left behind (or suspected to be). On the major
six lane highways of Saudi Arabia and little traffic, I
was able to rack the little Cressida up to about 140
mph! Awesome driving, but lousy judgment. It was
fun, but I wouldn't do it again and I wouldn't own a

I'm driving the car for 5 months now. My husband got it for me to drive back and forth to work. I would like it if it got better gas mileage but, considering it's age, it's not a bad little car. Apr 09, 2008

I had a 91 honda accord ex, and I thought that car was nice, well I now own a 89 cressida and it is nicer and more advanced than the honda was. I got the car for $350.00 and it rides quiet and smooth, its a nice little car with get-up-and go power! Really impressed me, my car is nicer than my husbands 94 mazda 929, and I paid less for mine, which really burns his insides! Hah!!Mar 31, 2008

I had this car for 4 yrs and this car was a tank for built quality. 3.0L Straight 6 cylinder inline engine with 24 valves, 197 bhp rear wheel drive, 0-100 km/h in 9 seconds with 4 people sitting in the car, was last recorded in March 2007. Really comfortable and quiet for crusing on the highway. had power brakes with ABS. Mar 17, 2008
