The little Pug' is really fantastic ... With its two Weber DCOE carbs, it is really fantastic ! Magic handling, noise, smelling, that makes it a really lavable car ! For sure you will not go for a 500 km travel over the highway. Better than an GTI because this is the last real rally car made for daily usage (not in urban traffic).Mar 06, 2014

loved the gti.dont recommend wider than standard tyres on the front with non power steer though. It was white with a Si injected bonnet with the bulge. Looked mean with 8 spoke factory alloys. Air flow meter gave me griefDec 01, 2009

I love it. Its french though, so it rattles a lot. It's bloody quick though. Its been an ongoing project starting out as a 1990 1900cc 8v GTi and is now powered by a 1998cc 16v GTi-6 Engine! How many words Do I need to get to 40??? I've counted a few times now...Aug 26, 2009

The car is a 205 Gti 1.9 whit about 125 bhp.
0-100 km/h in 8.5 seconds.
The car is cheap to buy and own, parts are cheap and easy to get.
I think the car is great, very funny and easy and don't forget which car is the most powerfull int history of rally ;)Dec 03, 2008

about it with 1 2 1 0 0 0 Km on the clock . it is eazy to drive and doesn't need much fuel. I but "her" new wheels and a CD player : ))) . it's a small car so no need to talk about performance but funny and surprisingly good in traffic jam .Oct 10, 2008

ultimate hot hatch with added firepower. bought with 112000 on the clock, now approaching 150000 miles, 4 years on. LNo major faults since ive owned it, Fitted the Mi16 engine 2 years ago and the car goes like stink, with handling to match it. Every drive leaves a smile on my faceSep 23, 2008

i like the 205 gti because its quick and fun to drive
i dislike the car beause it is FRENCH!
but you wont find anything as fun as the 205 for the price you pay. the car handles like a go kart you have so much fun driving 1, just be watch your speed on the corners because the arse end will catch you out when you least expect it.Aug 19, 2008

205gtis r good fun most of my mates have owned 1 at some stage, ive had 3 so far there just like gocarts give them plenty of beens and they will reward u with superior handling and more, lob a mi16 into them and u wont b dissapointed they absolutly fly so much power down 2 the fact a 1:6litre weighs 850kgs,power 2 weight ratio is second 2 none, with the rite driver u can kill pretty much anything on the road.downsides r electrics as the cars r so old they r tempermental, otherwise good value 4 money Jul 25, 2008

It only drove for a month.. Well we beated it up on a field.. :D It was fun and i drives good when the field is a little wet.. Bought the car for 350 DKK and spend a little money for gas, and 150 DKK to a new generator, Bye!Jul 19, 2008

Owned one for 8 years and didn't really want to get rid. Not living in the
UK though made me sell it before it became a dud. May 03, 2008

A cool car to actually drive - The GTi is amazing, but I never had the pleasure...
Decent handling and pretty fast for a 1.4 Carb, although build quality is not too great.
Cheap parts and easy repairs are good thoughJan 25, 2008

Originally a cheap runaround for the mrs, I decided to turn this into a lightweight track car on a udget! That seems to have gone out of the window, and it is one of the best handling and communicative cars I have drivenJan 04, 2008

205 1.0l which went ok for a 1.0l. parts were expensive though and it never did anything well except it was good on fuel and never broke down. except when the driveshaft snapped and took out the steering rack... after i sold the car. Dec 30, 2007
