My first car: plenty of pull power, little heavy on insurance but reliable. Only really had to get a new cam belt on mine after it broke whilst in Hunstanton. Rear wheel drive so had an element of fun when in the wet! Sep 04, 2009

easy to tune, cheap to fix, and theres not a lot out there that can keep with it for the same sort of money, if your looking for a car that can do 150 mph and 0 to 60 in under 6 seconds as standard and all that for under 6k i don't think you'll get it anywhere else! it comes with over 200bhp as standard but for as little a £500 you could push it up to 330bhp! and the sky really is the limit if you have deep pockets! the fastest road going cossie at the moment has hit over 200mph! what are you waiting for! go get one and go crazy!Aug 27, 2008

Ford Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth (2WD). What more can i say about this awsome motor, stage 2 tuned to 275 bhp and all this in the 90's. When matches with a K&N induction kit and Bailey piston dump valve the car sounded like a missile coming down the road. The engines can be tuned to 500bhp no problem, the original engines were actually de tuned to 220 bhp.
The only downside to the 2wd is the Borg Warner gearboxes, they dont have any syncromesh on reverse, I went through 3 gearboxes!!!!!Jul 24, 2008

2.0 GLS hatch the repmobile of choice in those lovely early 90's, colour coded mirrors, sunroof and that essential boot spoiler. Clocked up 140000 in just 2 years. Only one repair, clutch thrust bearing went and was replaced by ford under warranty. Otherwise it was great fun. Last of the rear drivers, comfortable and easy to live with.May 13, 2008

again had two of these, 1.6 pinto, 2.0i D.O.H.C, 1.6 was underpowered but felt nice and big to drive, the 2.0i was much better and was great fun to drive with the super light powersteering and the 129bhp to the back wheels, never less than a scream to driveMar 23, 2008
