i think this car is so much fun, drastically underpowered but that adds to the charm, foot to the floor untill the valves jump up and down on the bonnet what a giggle. because mine is lowered and stiffened suspension i can launch it into corners and it sticks like glue absolutely brilliant car for fun and laughs i can't wait to start rally cross.May 02, 2012

21 year old Vw Polo Classic.
1272cc engine going on bike carbs.
Going to be lowered 90mm at the front and 80mm at the rear.
Im going for billet mirror's, semi-smoked rear lenses, single lamp grill.
The sub and amp are going in it aswell as upgrading the rear speaks, and adding front speaker's via custom doorpod's.
Torn between 13" ATS Classic's, 13" Minilite's or depending on if they will still fit, 15" Ronal Turbo's.

I love everything about BEASTIE shes my lil girl had her 4 nearly 3 yrs now and shes never let be down the perfect mechanic's car I could not fault her in anyway! my perfect motor car can't beat it!Mar 31, 2010

My first car and I so miss it! <3 It's not a good car but I still liked it a lot! I had the car almost 6 months. But after having a Polo I would like to have another VW too. It didn't work perfectly. Some problems with the engine. Exterior was a bit rubbish but interior was modified by me x) Nov 11, 2009

This was my first car and I crashed her. She was the 1.0 version and she only had 4 gears. The braking was terrible.
Performance was poor, but what do you expect from a 1 litre engine. Not the worst car in the world, but compared to modern cars it is poor. For its time it was a good car.Jan 18, 2009

this was the best car i owend it was only a 1l but it was really nippy handled well2 will own another when my kids are older it was very reliable never had any problems the parts are very cheap if something does go wrong its very cheap on petrol, although standered they aint the nicest of cars once lowered on wide alloys and all smoth they are bloody lovelyJun 29, 2008
