This was a 3 year old car when I brought it on 27,000 miles, it wasnt quick but it was for a little 1.3L it was quite involving as it had no power steering u felt the road which gave it a fun sporty feel, it was so reliable build quality was by far the best in its class mad Vauxhall nova's or Ford Fiesta's look very bad quality. I owned this in the days where my car mechanics know how was poor and it was overheating for over 2 months loosing water all the time, so I had to skim the head and do a heat gasket but apart from front shocks and servicing nothing went wrong with it all the way up to 115,000 miles, this was in the day when I travelled 100 miles a day for work hence the miles i did.Sep 04, 2010

This car was just brilliant. It drove and handled very well. It was very stable and solid. It wasn't very fast but it looked very sporty. The interior wasn't stylish. But it was definitely very fun to drive. It was easy to fix and maintain and it doesn't consume much of fuel.Dec 23, 2009

A very reliable car. Didn't need much attention, except for the usual (oil, water). Rarely broke down and if so, the rapairs weren't complicated nor costly.
A 1.3 engine (petrol) with its 55-or-so horse power wasn't very dynamic, but the car won its share of 'red light races'. Partly because the standard suspension provided a solid grip. The brakes could've been just a little more efficient, though (not that I had any accidents ;]).
I liked its line. As for a car from 1995 it maintained its good looks. However, rust had become quite a nuiscance with time. Its interior wasn't of the best quality, but it was alright and didn't poke the eyes.
I would recommend this as the first car for people who just got their driver's license.May 11, 2009

Ive had this car for a year and it has been amazing. Ive had a few problems with it but they were just common faults for its age. If you want to buy one , get one below 50K miles and you should have no problems.Feb 12, 2008
