Never winter driven, so body is in very good shape. I like the way it looks without the spoilers it is still very sporty. Surprisingly nice to drive on the highway.Lumbar supports and fully ajustable seats make it very comfortable
downside the back seat has minimal leg room. The car drives great corners like a go cart, and braking (four wheel disc.) A little stiff on the bumps. Still has original paint the aluminum wheels sttarting to show their age.The center console is starting to deteriate,if anyone knows a fix for this advise would be welcomed.May 27, 2011

miss the boost, body was a lil rough but great car. full 3 inch exhaust with a flowmaster muffler. dumped wastegate, hks ssqv blow off valve, 60 mm turbo, 17 inch focal chromies, apexi safcII loved that system. i do miss this carMar 19, 2011

It's all stock, 7M-GE engine, interior, everything. The only thing
aftermarket is the stereo. The bad things about the car is the all of the
interior panels from the back seat to the hatch area have all been taken
out and I'm in the process of trying to find replacement parts.Oct 08, 2010

Pros: its got Power, pretty cool styling, the Handling is
awesome, Upgrades, Community, Fun,
Targa Top, MT, Turbo,
Cons: Always something to fix, Gas, wish it had up to date
safety features, ie TCS ACS etc

Performance - Relatively quick acceleration for a car that weighs 3600lbs with only 230hp. Brutal handling in stock form.
Build Quality - Incredibly solidly built.
Appearance - Very nice styling, though a bit of a carbon copy of other vehicles (ie. Ford Firebird, Mazda RX-7 [FC3S]).
Cost of Ownership - When things break...they get expensive.

Well built car that lacks slightly in the performance category but this vehicle has alot of potential when it comes to modifications to the engine output.
I love the rear wheel drive. Very fun to drive. Also the manual trans is desireable.Feb 21, 2009

Performance: makes 531rwhp at 21psi on AEM EMS,
braking is handled with Wilwood 4 POT calipers, handling is
way too much to list.
Build Quality: It on squeaks because of the nylon bushings
Appearance: It's beautiful, appeared on Turbo Magazine

Good, solid RWD grand tourer. Getting old and hard to find in good condition and usually needs an engine rebuild and restoration, but is easy to upgrade with its turbo inline-6. A bit on the heavy side to be a "sports car" but is a dream on the highway and at high speeds.Dec 01, 2008

She's almost 20yrs old, all original, (even sound system!) and only 104,000 genuine miles on the clock......
Very thirsty, so keep her for best :-))
Fair amount of leg room in back, and of course being hatch back I can even sleep in it - as am only little :-))

It was my Father's car, and this car was HOT. Pearl White, 0-60 in under 5 secs. 285HP very, very nice. Dad paid $2900 for it Brand New. I just wish he didn't sell it or I would still have it. Car drove like a knife through butter, easy and glided on air.Jun 30, 2008

Inline six 3 liter, nice torque and smooth power. However the car is a bit heavy and

Was a great car for its time. The engine and single turbo put out decent power and the targa top was alwasy fun during the summer time.

Its cool, its sleek, mean and a classic -like the MKII Toyota proved that they could build a car with personality, and going 6,3 sec. from 0 to 60 made the MKIII a serious performer (stock!) -but whats really cool about the MKIII is the potential, with just a few tricks, youll get more power, the automatic gearbox allows up till 350-400 ponies so you dont have to change the whole car -its build for perfomance, and I havent even mentioned the feeling of tearing down the autostrada with the top down...Jan 29, 2008

The Supra was a small revolution when it arrived on the scene in the mid 80's. upra Mk1 was constructed on the base of a 77 model Celica, it
preluded what was to come, the MK2 got its own platform an onboard computer to regulate the fuel injection, and picked up massive sales in the USA. I have owned a MK2 and currently my MK3 is in for an overhaul -I love the Supra because its the cheapest and most reliable way to get most horsepower for my money, 6.3, 0-100km, stock, gives decent performance even by todays standards. I just purchased the car and drove it from Maryland to Colorado. I am in my late 40's, so my back is a bit sore, but other than that, the car is fun to drive, is peppy, and I got 23 to 25 miles per gallon. For a car that is 18 years old, it is still tight in the handling and no strange squeaks or noises. Since it is a sports car, the ride is a bit stiff, but I expected that. Very easy to keep at a specified speed, and a joy to drive for short to modest length trips.Aug 20, 2007
