The summer between my junior & senior year in college 1 traded my 79 Chevy Caprice Classic with 43Kmi in for a new Chevy Nova sedan with a AM radio and a 5-spd manual. I got the medium brown exterior and tan cloth interior. The body was GM but under the hood all Toyota making the car bulletproof. I added a black luggage rack on the trunk lid and trim rings on the steel wheels and upgraded the AM radio to the Delco Stereo option. With my trade-in I paid a net price of $3500 because I found a person to buy the Caprice from my Chevy dealer.. I traded it for a 92 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4 door as I finished the mgt trainee program and was driving to other branch offices all winter and classes at night in Buffalo each week for a couple years. My Nova served its purpose and then some. Great started 1st new car.Jan 04, 2024

I am the Second Owner of this 87' Nova, it is currently Tan and Grey, but we plan on Painting it. It has 150,000 miles on it. It gets very good gas Mileage, close to 40 M.P.G. It is 4-Cylinder, front wheel drive, five-speed. It is my first car and the interior is in perfect shape.Jun 21, 2011

the car is just fun to drive. It goes roughly 0-60 in never thanks to the tiny 4 cylinder engine. Great for driving around with friends, going to the beach, and just chilling out with.May 02, 2008

Car was a 5 speed manual with a 1.8 liter not much get up and go there but she always
started was good in the snow and took a good beating though highschool very plain nothing
like the origional chevy nova it also had a toyota corolla drive train which i'm sure is what
lead to it's reliability and fuel economyApr 28, 2008
