performance- great for an "86
quality- its bulid to last
Appearance- bright yellow with black trim, black roof, with crome bumpers

VOLKSWAGEN GOLF CABRIOLET 1.8 GL
The good engine, similar to GTI, is nice to use.
With 24 years old, is very solid and with no noises. Exception to some aerodinamic
noise over 100km/h
About the looks is it necessary to say something?... ok... IT'S SO COOL ;)
With plenty of used parts in the after market, it's not dificult to mantain this car.
If you ask me if it is fun to drive, I say YESSS... but avoid dificult parking! eheh!Jul 16, 2010

was the best car i coulda has as my first car my family bought it in 87 when i was born. had a blown head gasket and sounded like crap and gave me a headache but i miss it! -jjNov 03, 2009

it acc. well depends on your driving but even though its a four cylinder it gets up there the only repairs we have had to make on it is the ball joint twice. it is the funist car to diveOct 10, 2009

It's so fun. We bought this convertible for my stepdaughter and after a few years she needed a more practical car for school. I bought it back, put new tires and under $500 into it and use it for around town and work transportation in the Spring Summer and Fall. It like being 23 again without hurting yourself!!Apr 10, 2009

when my cabriolet was running, i thought it was a beautiful little number, my husband drove ours up this long up hill road with lots of bends, he thought he was colin mccrae, the way he took the bends, especially as the brake pads had not been worn in, by the time we came down the other side they were well bedded in. not good in the wet though it tends to swing out a bit. although my son says that can be remedied. brilliant little number for the summer though, it turns heads alot, my is going to be candy pick, with a white hood. suits my personality.Nov 09, 2007
