Another in my GM 2-car stable...an OK car, performance was a real disappointment but that was 1985. Still, overall a great car for the highway, handling was decent, and I still love the GM 2 doors, it was as close to a street machine as you could get without buying the ugly Camaro or Firebird (ducking). lol.Feb 24, 2012

Im in love with my 1985 pontiac grand prix, thoughts about saling because of money and difficulty finding parts, but im going to stay strong. I recently just blew my motor and in need of a new paint job plus seat work, im thinking about adding a sunroof painting it all black with a black top an black n crome rims, just wanting to come back faster, stronger an better then before...(new pics comin soon)..Aug 28, 2011

Runs good but was a little rough around the edges when I purchased. Purchased new engine, alternator, battery, transmission, gas lines, trans lines, brakes. Should run great now, but I'm no expert since I'm female.I'm happpy with this auto.I like seeing other peoples grand prix and how they fix them upMar 12, 2011

i love a lot of things about this car! starting with the fact of how few i see around.that was probably one of the most attractive qualities, of all the gm g body cars i see all types of regals, monte carlos, and especially cutlasses but until i found mine i had seen two before.it combines the front grille luxury look of the earlier model monte carlos with the sportier rear end of the regal.the interior trimming is a throwback with the analog clock, tachometer, oil light, battery voltometer,dometer/speedometer surrounde by wood. Both classic and classy.I personally have the 3.8L v6 motor, it made me a fan of a 6 cylinder engine made right. The low end torque of a 4 cylinder with the top end muscle of a v8.The motor sounds very healthy with a throaty muscular growl.and comin out of 3rd to 4th feels like a huge magnet is yankin the car from the front end.the carb is strong enough to suck the hood down into the fishbowl ... but in stop and go the ride is smooth but still sporty. i think this car is a perfect balance between sport and luxury.if kept in DECENT maintenance the car has adequate respectable gas mileage.the cost of maintenance is practically a steal because the virtual interchangeability of most GM parts. i have nothing bad to say about this car . I LOVE IT. if you find one keep it!Jul 18, 2009
