all i can say is that i wish it was that one above but still a great car for fun.good car to drive on the motorway but did have a dodgy fuel gauge and liked to burn fuel as it did oil.Dec 22, 2008

first of all, my sierra is the mark 1 XR4X4, 2.8l v6 with 4wd.
well.. performance is a bit lacking, considering that it runs on 4 cylinders at the moment. Disc brakes at every corner stops the car quite fast. Handling is sort of good, but you have to remember that the car has the original springs etc from 1985.
Build quality... it's not that good, but then it's quite easy to repair yourself and there are quite much spare parts available.
Appearance.. I do like the styling personally, but it's not for everyone.
Costs.. at this moment it uses about 30l/100km, but according to ford it should get to around 14l/100km. That still is a lot considering the low 150hp. Maintenance is quite cheap, but then I do it myself..
Fun.. Oh yes, the car sticks to the ground at incredible speed while driving around tracks, and then there's the noise. (And the current condition of the engine is from the track days ;)Jul 22, 2008

Brought on a saturday,inner-wing colapsed and rested on the master cylinder on the monday, still used for work tuesday & wednesday, thursday swapped for a metro carburator.
Accellerator was only a volume control, the engine did`nt go any faster, but just mad more noise!Jan 13, 2008
