I've had new and I have had old Vette's... I like the old the best. This one is a keeper it's looks are irresistible, it's condition impeccable. I'm thinking rather replace it with something new, I'm gonna modify and soup up the mechanicalsJul 23, 2014

When buying a classic, plan on doing the work yourself. Things become fragile, and men working on your car, don't give a care, and then say "I didn't do it" or "Uh sorry". You'll spend tons of money on replacing things that didn't need replacing until Dick whacked at it...no pun :)Jul 02, 2014

SALE PENDING.
Fun, sticks to the road, albeit made during the EPA's misguided attempt at "saving gas". Easy to restore (many OEM and cloned parts available). It is reliable, sounds awesome with a low-resistance cat-back exhaust, and better on fuel than many newer cars.May 23, 2013

A fun car to drive. Definitely an attention getter when you are out on the road. The car handles very well. It has very responsive steering and braking. Is a little lacking in the horsepower department. The early 80's wasn't know for big horsepower engines. Overall, still a fun car to drive and to own.Feb 05, 2012

Performance after I did somethings (pistons, cam, crank, etc.) was unbelievable. Handling could be better though. Its an 82'... things are gonna start to go. The car appelas to me a lot. It is a matter of preference, but it is a sporty looking car that will get a lot of looks. The cars american so maintenance is simple and cheap if you can't do it yourself. Gas mileage is low but what would u expect from a sports car. This car is very very fun.Feb 23, 2011

First year of crossfire injection. Haven't had any problems with it and it gives it good milage. Engine should have more power.
This was original two toned blue, but it has been repainted in some other blue colors that makes it alot prettier than the original.Sep 29, 2010

aside from the stock automatic transmission (only transmission offered on the model yr) she's perfect, starts every time, looks cooler than spit, very little lag on the trans (albeit it took some tinkering) and 'vettes have only gotten better since.Sep 07, 2010

A real head turner, this was a beautiful piece of art. I loved taking the t-tops off and just cruising. The acceleration left a little to be desired (cross fire injection?) and the gas mileage was, of course, crap. But man, this car was so much fun it was worth it to me. I hated to sell it when I came to Europe...Aug 18, 2008

The car needs a lot of updating in the interior, there's a lot of squeaks and rattles. All of them are fixable. I already put in a new sound system in. At some point in the future there will be a better engine and transmission put in. The car is awesome like it is, but no car is ever too good for improvement. Apr 30, 2008

I've been restoring this for years and it is now red. I'm almost done but it's been a lot of work. It drives great but the engine is pretty loud (I'm not sure if that's good or bad). Overall it is very fun to drive.Mar 17, 2008

Mine needs work but i like It. It has been sitting since 2000. I need a good mechanic in my area i think to look it over. speedometer broke guy told me he replced 2 times and everytime he went over 85 it would break,,,dont see any reason to fix lol. also noticed idle erratic and bangs hard in gear sometimes.Nov 14, 2007

I purchased a white with blue cloth interior with 39000 miles on it from an older couple who kept in covered in their garage. The car is in very good shape with some minor glitches. The power antenna does not work, windows do not seal near roof line or rear of window. But the car is in excellent shape, a real looker. It has a new coat of paint and sparkles. Driving is crisp and responsive with lots of power :)Aug 19, 2007
