I love everything about it, however I have though about dropping a v 6 and auto trans and ditching the 4 cyl and 4 speed. It needs the interior reworked as well as the paint. We are considering painting it lime green and black, however the wife doesnt like that idea. Its very hard to find parts for.Oct 27, 2012

All things considered, I did not hate my Ford Pinto...the most worrisome 'feature' was it's dismal acceleration - regardless of which gear I'd be in, I could not get the car to accelerate at interstate speeds. Once you got it up to speed it was ok. Styling was sort of cool, but by 1980, the deep dish round gauges were gone in favor of a boxy square speedometer. The front seats were super comfy, the back seats not so much.
I guess it was ok for its time....Jul 12, 2012

I needed a car with better fuel mileage from the Granada and it had the 2.3 motor and just needed general repairs and up keep. It was great looking car for a Pinto and was actually a solid car for a Pinto. It was a great car to drive because of being a manual tranny!! I also put some aftermarket wheels and tires on it and few other mods. I also put in a awesome stereo system!!!Oct 09, 2009

Well, it was Ford powered ;-) but overall a blast to drive. Biggest problem was the I think the new drivers are about the size of horse jockeys so it was a tight fit for big ol' me. Only other complaint was that it was hard to park!Feb 09, 2009
