1978 Ford Pinto Reviews, Pricing & Specs

That car was AWESOME!! Got it from my Grandfather. Came from BC so it had little rust and only a few dents. It had four seatbelts but would hold seven teenagers. Performance was alright for an old carb 4 banger. When the choke stuck on it was a blast to try and stop. No power brakes on that baby. Maintenance was pretty easy, not much to go wrong with it. Although we did have to order the rear shocks from Arkansa. Great winter car, if you didn't mind wearing snowpants while driving. Heater was a little undersized. But that car would always start in the cold, and would go through any amount of snow. RWD!!! It was a sad time when the rusties caught up with it and the oil pan became a sieve. Awesome memories.
