Was happy with this car, the 12 yrs. I owned it. I wanted to re-do the interior, but never got around to it, and became soo busy with other things, that I didn't even find much time to drive it! That is why I sold it. Was not enjoying it enough ...Jan 01, 2015

The look of this car speaks for itself. It is just a sharp looking car. It runs and drives great. Is a fun car for an occasional drive. The bad thing is the space. I am a bigger guy and it is pretty tight for me getting in and out. No back seats. But if you are looking for a sports car to drive around on weekends or nice days, this is definitely for you!May 08, 2014

This is a Fun Car to Drive. People Stop on the sidewalk and watch it go by. Always Best in Show at the Ice Cream Shop. At 550 HP you really need to make sure you leave enough room to stop the car. Aug 28, 2011

everything is just the way i need....
i love my car and i do care about her...
"Corvette" she does not need any extra addings on her body not internally nor externally, if you need to relax just drive it on the highway of the country side, open the windows, take off the t-tops and enjoy the breeze coming from the fields you are passing through, it is fun to drive such beautiful car.Nov 24, 2009

Gas mileage sucks but who cares when the car is older than you are. T- tops leak when it rains but then shes not suppose to be drivin in the rain. Fun to work on and so much fun to drive. Sep 01, 2009

This was my first car, still own it today, rebuilt the
engine for track use. now it is primarily a race car
with some fun driving when i get the urge.
300hp, 400 ft/lbs of torque, recently rebuilt 350
TPI engine from a '86 vette
big block springs, front coils and rear leaf both
lowered.
daytona front and rear bumper, high rise hod.
new paint(electron blue)
torque thrust II 17" wheels
custom interior blue and black leather seats and
door panels
~20 MPG, love the car amazing to drive, but rides a
little low, can be a pain over big bumps. me and
my dad did all of the work ourselves.Aug 22, 2009

I absolutly LOVE this car. It is the most stunning car I have
ever seen. It handles amaingly and has great performance
given that the engine is covered in power stealing emissions
controlls. Overall it is aging very gracefully. This is one of the
most fun cars I have ever driven. It attracts attention
everywhere I drive it.Jul 22, 2009

this is another one of my dream cars. the 1980 corvette beautiful lines and a great cruising car. its a 305 automatic as of this moment but ill be doing something about that once i have enough money. i bought it as a project car and have replaced the interior was doeskin the color of the car and is now black. not my idea of the place to start i would have engine swapped and fixed the drivetrain first but im not complaining, yet. the car drive flawlessly if your cruising around town. i don't race it as it shows its age (now 29) and hasn't had a tune up in several years. but the build quality is very high as everything in it works and is still stock. my mini would smoke it but this will get me the girl. I like everything and dislike nothing! This car is has great performance for its age, great handling, and it never fails to turn heads. I have had it for a year and the only problem I had with it was a faulty 160 degree thermostat that I purchased at Advanced Auto.Jan 22, 2009

I'm supposed to type 50 words or more? Well, i love my car, my friends call it the Bat Mobile for obvious reasons. Not sure what else to say right now so I will finish this review later.... Who am I kidding, I probably wont... I need 4 more words.... okay, DONE!Aug 31, 2008

I think the Corvette is the best sports car out there. They handle great and are always reliable. Trigger has never let me down once. We've won every race. She always turns in the fastest times. Nothing can catch her.May 06, 2008

bought the car about 2 years ago. needed a lot of work. since i got it i
have put a completely new engine in it... a stock 350 instead of the 305
it came with. everything under the hood is pretty much new. modified
exhaust system. only thing that needs to be done is interior and paint
job to fix minor dings.May 05, 2008

Right now the speedometer is broken which means, obviously, you wouldn't know how fast you were going, but that is soon to be fixed. The door handles are different than most other vehicles. They are flat against the body and are pressed in rather than pulled out to open the door. Not quite as cool as the 1982, but it is equally lovable.Apr 07, 2008

Car has been almost completely rebuilt. I have done the following to the car since I bought it: New paint, stinger hood, daytona front bumper, fiberglass rear bumper, side exhaust, 16x8" polished aluminum wheels, 245/55/R16 BF Goodrich tires, carpeting, door panels, leather seats, walnut steering wheel, walnut dash trim. I am currently in the process of replacing the suspension, motor, and auto to manual conversion. Motor is a 350 bored 30 over, aluminum pistons, aluminum roller rockers, aluminum performer intake, demon 750 carb.Mar 30, 2008

I have had my Corvette since 1982, I am the second owner. The first owner decided she wanted to race dogs...oh well. Since I've had this car it's actually been stolen not once, but twice! The first time by some random person. Police found the car and it went to a dealer for repairs. The second time it was stolen -- was at the dealer. I was informed by Police that my car was stolen, I told them I knew that already as it was at the dealership being repaired, the poor officer then said to me, I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but you car was stolen from the dealership! In a strange fate, I actually found my own car parked at a house in a area that I frequently go thru. I told my friend to get ready as I was about to steal my car back, I still had keys on my other ring. So that's wat I did, and drove it straight to the Police station, explained everything. There response,"Do you want a job?" So you see my baby has been thru hell and back, I have since redone everything with the help of my husband who has taught me everything. Oh yea did I mention, I am a mother of three boys - and they do not drive my car !!!
