This was my mothers car when I was a kid. When I was a teenager I used to sneak it out at night and drive around the neighborhood. It was a convertable and pretty fun to drive. It was a small car and handled well.Nov 23, 2013

fun car to drive around town not on the free way. you'll get plenty of looks from people giving a smile. folks would come up to you and talk to you about your car.
My girls don't like me picking them up in the car because they think the car is old and not cool. until folks start giving us nice smile of approval. I wish I can keep it.Jul 11, 2013

The straight four is very weak. Were putting a 302 in it from a '93 Mustang.
The car is solid. It has some small rust spots but overall, the uni-body is solid.
It has a leather interior. It is a convertible.
Were putting a sebring body kit on it, and a drivetrain overhaul.Mar 27, 2010

The MGB is an awesome car. The car has few
horsepower, but still fun to drive. It handles decently
well for a car of its age. The shifter is fantastic, very
clicky and precise. The build quality is dismal, but
that's part of what makes owning a British Leyland
product "fun." It gets decent gas mileage when the
dual SU carbs are set right. The cabin is well-outfitted
and has very long foot wells. The look is classic British
sports car. Jul 03, 2008

Great old car, beautiful, so simple craftmanship if anything goes wrong you can get into the engine and fix it not like the engines these days with plastic all over them.Apr 07, 2008

I was lucky enough to learn to drive in a BGT then even more lucky to own one at a young age!!! They're the sort of car you can get attached to!Mar 30, 2008

I drove this car so much when I was in High School. Of course the Lucas wiring was a
complete mess and the engine wasn't powerful. But it was one the few MGB's Iv'e ever seen
with spoke wheels and knock off hubs. Loved it so much I eventually totaled it.Mar 18, 2008
