She goes well. It has a 5Litre EFI V8 and 5 Speed strengthened Gearbox.
It has a fully reupholstered interior.
It has the most comfortable seats EVER to sit in.
The exhaust system screams power.
It does need a respray and new rims. That would make it a real head turner.
Great powerful acceleration.Jul 22, 2010

U have never lived unless u have driven a Kingswood with a 308 that will rev to 8000rpm.
Fuel and economy don't go in the same sentence.
But at least it handles and stops better then a torana :-)
The interior is somewhat confatable for a car that is 30+ years and the paint is presentable.
As far as cost to run, its cheaper to just burn money.Jun 02, 2010

It was my first car and i love it! I still have it and am in the process of fixing it up. Have a VS SS V8 in it with auto trans and am working on rest over time. Aim to have it back on the road July 09 in time for my birthday.Dec 19, 2008

My ute is the best, back in its day they where are geat workhorse, often fitted with a straight six 202cu-i or a 253cu-i or 308cu-i V8. i am in the middle of a mild rebuild and i am fitting it with the 253cu-i V8 with a Trimatic gearbox.Jul 04, 2008

With the venerable 253 V8, this big HZ Station Wagon was a great workhorse. It would go anywhere, but was prone to overheating. The Transmission was interesting, and it was so noisy, but it was the best car ever. It could be started with a screwdriver, but the electric Tailgate window did operate flawlessly. A true gem of a car.Mar 30, 2008
