Just a good old fashion vehicle from the past. These are not race cars, the older beetle's are not knowen for any speed. It is just fun to drive in the summer. Lots of lookes and questions and older people who remember the past. Apr 19, 2013

This came into my life due to me rolling my 84 nissan pickup. Got this cruiser origanly for that in HS. Moved out joined the military and whatya know like 4yrs later the folks still had it so I took it off their hands. Before I sold it it was one heck of a racer with a 2332cc motor. the next step was a Fuel injection and a turbo, maybe nitrous. shoulda kept itSep 28, 2010

1500cc engine develops little power but its handling is quite nice.. especially in the mountains. It's a very nice overtaker. It's fun to drive. It's wearing stock rims, but painted in black. Restoration is not yet done.I love this car.Sep 03, 2009

It was so much fun, loved this car.
Only problem with having a restored vehicle is you have to keep putting money into it. Definately not a project to jump into w/out the funds.
The key is a VW never dies it just breaks down!
Next hopeful project is '57 23 window
or even a MicroSep 07, 2008
