90 hp wasn't quite enough, but the lack in brawn was compensated by superb handling. This car is so much fun to drive. Driving fast in winter conditions was a bit tricky at first because of the divided rear axle. It made the car a bit unreliable compared to others with stiff rear axles. It took me some time to figure the car out, but once I got used to how the car reacted in slippery conditions I could really start to have some major fun. I remember that driving my parents new 1988 Saab 900i over cracks in the road resulted in ratteling and jingeling. Driving my 1977 Beemer over the same cracks only resulted in muffled thumps from the suspension. That's quality!Jun 29, 2010

not much work done to this specific car, needless to say i was in love even before driving it, but the feel of driving it is priceless. 4 speed transmission is super fun, and old school one sided mirror adds some quirk. takes turns incredibly, still hate that i don't see it out my window.Aug 17, 2008
