I love driving as often as weather permits although it is not as streetable as it used to be. I took out the sound deadener to lose weight at the strip, but now I can't hear the radio over the exhaust. I never win any awards at shows unless they have a burnout contest but, I take it to every one that I can. People hear me coming from way off.Feb 20, 2010

Used as a platform to annoy people (dual Flowmasters, headers)
Old, but reliable
ugly unless you're a Chevy guy (I'm not)
loads of fun
mileage in the single digits on a good day

Its gets crapy fuel mileage ( 8 mpg). It only goes in straight lines. You can't hear the radio over the engine and tires don't last long. It takes any extra money I have. Oh ya, it has 560 horsepower and enough torgue to scare most ricers. Passengers can't find the door handle fast enough.Sep 13, 2009

It has a 350 SBC but it's not as powerful as most others. It
only has 55,000 miles so it's in good shape. Horrible gas
mileage though. Eventually would like to give it a new
exhaust system, four barrel carburetor, and camshaft. May 26, 2009

this car has everything a muscle lover is looking for: timeless looks, more horsepower than you can shake a stick at (with some simple bolt ons), and an automatic membership to one of the largest families in the world, the car lovers family. my car has served me well even before i supercharged it and i have never been able to keep the passenger seat empty. gotta love the nova ssSep 17, 2008

My dad has a 2 door 1974 Nova SuperSport, with a 350 small block V8 under the hood. Its got a 4-on-the-floor manual transmission. 2.77 gear ration rear end. He's topped it at about 125 mph. Its gold with a black vinyl top and black racing stripes along the sides. He's got it almost completely stockAug 28, 2008

My car is very reliable seeing as we bought it off e-bay and drove
it from mesa, Arizona (close to phonix) all the way back to nashvile ,T.N.
This is my 1974 Chevy Nova SS. I bought it from a guy in phonix, Arizona for 2,800
dollars. It was a great deal for such a rare car and i had been saving for a yea or 2
to buy it. I finnaly bought it in september 2007 and me and my mom flew to Arizona
to go get it and drive it back. My plan is to have it painted swap engines and do a little
body/interior work on it so when i am able to drive i will have a nice car. Its a work in
progress and sorta ruff around the edges but averall for 2,800$ it was more than worth it.Feb 18, 2008

Bought in great running shape for $1200 and ran it pretty hard. Motor kept on going until it ran out of oil one too many times. 350 had plenty of power after replacing the factory 2-bbl with an Edelbrock 4-bbl carb. Even for a 3800 lb car she was fairly maneuverable on the windy roads by the lake. Definitely can't wait to get her back again.Feb 11, 2008
