This car I built for my wife so it had to be comfortable and easy to drive and that it was. When we bought the car it was just a running primer bomb, so i redid the interior, bodywork, paint and dressed up the engine on a very minimal budget, i was only making $10 bucks an hour back then, that was 20 years ago.Apr 15, 2015

Great looking starting to gain in its deserved price range , real nice driving car, LT-1 has been a great plus, motor is the cats meow, never had any mechanical problems, originally a factory brown with white stripes......................Muscle car in all senses of the word, look at a 1970-73 RS..Sharp car.Nov 29, 2011

I have never driven this car in stock form, so my thoughts on its power and handling are not really applicable. As upgraded (Currently with a well-worked smallblock V8 and additional go-fast goodies), the car has unbelievable power and handling to rival that of "modern muscle" like the new-GTO and Mustangs. An all-leather-and-plastic interior makes the build quality a two-sided sword; everything does however manage to work together for the greater good of its appearance. Since the car is nowhere near stock in my ownership, I can't say that its cost of ownership is good or bad, as the car has been quite expensive for me. However, smallblock V8s that the car originally was equipped with are quite cheap to replace nowadays (approaching the $1-per-cu. inch mark), so even if one were to blow the motor out of an old Camaro, a replacement can be had for very inexpensively. He stuck a 430hp 383 small-block in it.It has 468 big-block. The car was fast and fun to drive-yet still it needed something. I know, a six-speed transmission, a rearend makeover, suspension upgrades, better brakes, and yes, more power. Now my wife is starting to worry about me. The car is running strong and out comes the 468 and in goes a 496...with a B&M 177 mini-blower."Oct 16, 2009

The Camaro is an American classic and I think from 1967-1973 are the real Camaros. With lines the blend american muscle with sport and the aggresive look of a beast the Camaro is one cool looking ride. With a base line 307 V8 it has a lot of room for improvement in the performance arena but you can still break the rear wheels loose easily.Sep 19, 2009

Very quick, 11.91sec @ 118mph in 1/4 mile. 383 stroker, full roller cam and valvetrain. 700r4 overdrive auto trans. 3:43 rear end gears. Flowmaster 2 1/2 exhaust that sets off car alarms everywhere I go. Getting a fresh repaint this month. We have more fun in this car, even when below speed limit, than you can imagine.Jul 10, 2009
