My favorite car I have ever owned. Driving off road or in the snow was great fun.
It had a loud powerful 350 rocket and could smoke most other cars on the road
when this beast was working. I think everyone should have to drive a old car as
their first. It teaches them car maintenance and appreciation.Apr 08, 2012

This car was kept stock - no need to modify. Bought the car in 1982 and father and I did restore the car (rolling restoration) and drove the car when I was in high school. Kept the car for 24 years before parting with it. It needed to have a frame off restoration at that point. The car had allot of power - it loved to burn tires off. I remember laying a 200 ft strip of rubber with it one night and burning right thru the back tires - one of them went flat the other was not far behind when I stopped due to lose of visibility. Love the way the front seats would fold flat for nights at the drive-in watching movies from the back seat. Really miss this car - may have to find another one - maybe even a convertible. This car is a blast to drive, wether your cuising the streets or hitting the open highway. It is almost a joy to take on long trips and you definatly gets some looks when you drive past anyone. The car itself rarely needs any maintenance after we have restored it. I will say this, if you can get a hold of a Cutlass Supreme or Olds 442, pick it up and cherish it!Feb 17, 2010

It has a little rust so I want to get a new paint job and I need to clean up the engine again. Im thinking of changing out the headers and valve covers. But over all I like it.Jun 21, 2008

It was the beast,it had a 350 olds rocket (355 ci) I had it dynoed at 400 hp,hooker headers, edelbrock performer intake, carb, chrome dress up kit,.the cutlass looked very similar to this pic when i purchased it,then painted it corvette red, with the black rally stripes on the hood and deck lid.factory rims with 245 60s rubber,it had 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust.i dressed the shifter and interior with skulls.Feb 26, 2008

this car is the first car I can remember, it has been in my family since it was new, My great aunt gave it to me when she could no longer drive. I made 4 round trips to Iowa to camp EWALU in it, it is very powerful, stops great even with its four drum brakes, they never were a problem I don't have a picture of it thoughJan 09, 2008

Bought this car off EBAY when I was 17 with the intentions of making it a show car. But unfotunately everything seemed to go wrong, I'd order some parts for it, take a few months n they tell me they don't have them anymore, paint job was goin to cost me $3500, lil too much for a kid wit no job at the time. But the car didn't need too much anyhow, it was really nice, but deff could have used a different color. It had perfect interior, power bench seat, power windows, power lock, power steering, power brakes, 350 rocket engine that ran great, no rust on the car at all. Owned it for bout a year than sold it to someone local when I decided I didn't have the money to be putting into it at the time and it cost me bout $100 a month just to store it so I was losing money every month.Jan 06, 2008
