1969 mercury cougar . Fun car to drive, I enjoy driving it around town a real eye catcher ! You see many of the the other cars. Cougar is one of those cars you don't see much of. You love them or don't like them but a great car no matter what !Sep 20, 2013

This was a return to the the car I had in HS (20 yrs later) car. Though this had a 4-spd vs. the FMX auto. Real head turner and fun to drive. Not the fastest cat but very cool...Aug 29, 2010

Judy's Car Powder blue 351 - one bbl and AutoTrans with AIR. Black interior. Good Power. Did minor repairs on it - Carb, brakes, tune ups, lube, etc.
Had problems with the carburetor and rebuilt it at least once.
Traded in for Judy's next car when it had about 100,000 miles on it. Mar 28, 2010

This car was bought by my Grandpa in 1991, Mom rebuilt her in 97. I love 'Kitty" and she never lets me down. She has won three trophies all second place, I continue to show her when I'm home from college.Feb 26, 2010

For the Mercury Cougar I don't have, I would say she is a
beauty, having a winsor 2 hemi in it. Pretty sure, a little body
work might need to be done, but it will be worth the effort, I
absolutely love this car.Nov 21, 2009

This was my favorite car. It was all engine and could hall ass.
The cool factor was the hidden headlights. Plus I had the same make of car the future Mrs.James Bond (Tracy) drove in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Sadly it's only a memory, sold it to the husband of my neighbor and he promptly totaled it. Oh well. It was a blast to drive while I had it.Sep 24, 2009

Last year I purchased my 1969 Cougar. After a search of the BC interior where I became disappointed with the term “Great Shape” I decided to take my search south and purchased an all original 1969 Ivy Green Cougar out of Eugene Oregon. I am the third owner and the car has all the horse power I need. With over 330 HP I am now able to relive the dreams of my youth and leave my own ten foot skid mark here in the present.
“I love the smell of Rubber in the morning. It’s the smell of Victory”
Here are a few picks of the updates, Exterior hood scoop, Lower spoiler , Rocker panels and 15 x7 Magnum 500 with 235 TA’s.
The car has a complete new front end, tie rods, ball joints and upper and lower control arms.
The 351W 4-V Drives like a dream and plenty of horse power with Edelbrock manifold and 650 carb, pushing 330 hp.

I loved this car my whole life, and its the first car I ever drove that was a stick, and I had no problems driving it....then my dad PROMISED to sell it to me, then one day this guy from CA came out and was looking at MY car, and he bought it, despite my loud mumbling of "dont u dare buy my car, dont u dare" and the worst part was that I only needed to go to the bank in the morning to get the money my dad wanted for it, but of course, he couldnt simply wait one day to get the money, I was literally in tears for two months after the guy took my baby away.............it was the most beautiful car I had ever seen, it was blue with a black top, and it was the greatest car I have ever drove, even better than my '72 Skylark, or any other car I have ever had!!!!!!!!! I never get 4 cylinder engine cars, they just dont cut it with me!!!!!!!!!!Jul 29, 2008

I've had some trouble with the engine, but that's only because it hasn't been rebuilt in it's 40 year existance. Turns heads wherever she goes. Sounds amazing.Apr 02, 2008

The american muscle with 5,7 liter V8. Nice car when it isn't raining.
Posing with the roof down on a hot summer day is something close to
perfect. Looks amazing, sounds amazing and the handling is, of course,
terrible. Dec 22, 2007
