I like every thing about the car except the small back seat and small trunk, When I first saw the car I fell in love with the interior and then the power, I have had my car since 1978, My High school car and will never part with it.Aug 06, 2014

This is my favorite car, ever! Definitly, its the pride & joy of my garage!I wanted one in high school after a neighbor moved in with a 1969 convertible. I finally picked one up in 2000 & been working on it ever since.Dec 18, 2012

Ok this is not an actual picture of the car but this is a 68 cougar. I own this with my oldest son Jacob. He gets the pleasure of driving it...and if you read his facebook you no the drawback is it leaks PS like a sive for now.
Ford motor company hydraulics in these years suck from my experience.
It is a fun car...original 289 air conditioned car with vinyle top. Fun car to drive but you have to get use to the "ford float" in the steering. Has dual exhaust and a nice rumble. Headlight covers are operational as are the sequential blinkers.
My sons daily driver....wish it was mine in 1981 & 82Aug 25, 2010

289 engine block
leaks steering fluid like a mofo
has 10-20 degrees of play in the wheel
all in all not too bad for being 42 years old
i wish it had cup holders
buying a new block within a year
and going to buy airbag suspension by winterJul 14, 2010

I got this car about a year ago. when i first got it, the front drivers side fender was smashed in, and the back passanger fender was smashed too. i got both replaced and put onto the car. it now has been painted and all the body work done! there is no rust on this car. its got a 5.0L in it that we took out of a Lincoln. Also i got straight flows under, with a bigger cam. when i drive this it sounds very mean. the gas mileage on the other hand....it gets about 8-15 mpg. but it cant be perfect :P. but i love this car.Dec 02, 2009

It's a 68... it has issues... i've been in the process of rebuilding it for several years. i've just in the last two years gotten to where i can actually drive it. but the power steering is now out on it and i've lost the keys so it's pretty un-driveable now anyway. it's battery was donated to my bronco to get it running. this car has a rebuilt winsor 302 under the hood. the engene has less than 50 miles on it. the entrie car has only 48000 miles on it. the brakes are sad at best, but it a car like this would want to stop?Jan 24, 2009

Olds Cougars scream class. Add a pristine vinyl to and Augusta green paint this cars looks plain badass. It has the original 302 and AT. For 40 years old the car is an absolute blast to drive anywhere. It is worth its title as a more luxurious version of the 'stang.Sep 07, 2008

427 Sideoiler with a Stroker crank producing close to 500 hp , Braking covered by 4 wheel discs .
Leather upholstery , wood grain dash gives it that elegant look.
Hideaway front headlights, sequential rear turn signals .
Easy to work on, Super fun to drive and I get thumbs up wherever I go ! Jul 27, 2008

Can anyone really complain about a classic muscle car? I loved this car and will own another one someday. I could squeel my tires in 2nd gear and it only had a 302. Imagine if I put a 345W in that car.Apr 03, 2008

I bought this car (not the one pictured) for my first car. I have lots of money invested in it and wouldn't trade it for the world! I love this car to death. It has arm strong power steering and 4-70 a/c, but that only makes this car more of an experince to drive. Did I mention the big block power for go and on the opposite end - manual brakes for stopping. An all around joy and totally different experience to drive!Mar 30, 2008

Car was built by a friend, anything that weighed anything was removed. Many engine mods, couldn't keep tires on it.Dec 20, 2007
