Thinking back on my vette it was a hot car to sit in,hot in temp. my feet got vary hot, even with the air on not good. The car felt heavy around turns. The side pipes was not a good choice as I burnt my leg every time on exit.Oct 11, 2010

Amazing. 350 Chevy. Not original, believe it came from a 70's.
As like any other classic it needed work.
Beautiful car. One of the nicest designs, in my opinioin.
Terrible MPG but its not made for it.
Love to drive. May 19, 2010

um, one of the best gear boxes ever, the muncie with hurst
shifter changes gear like a hot knife through butter, and the
327 5.3L has just enough power to be fun and squeel the tires
when you want to make some tracks, the gas costs alot uses
high octane fuel supplied by sunoco and gets probably 10-15
mpg, depending on whos drivingFeb 22, 2010

It's American made! SB Chevy 400HP+. It's a solid car. Performance is great... I raced an 07 Roush mustang and had no problem pulling back up to him but he would take me after 140mph. I love this car and will always love Corvettes over Mustangs! It's a very fun car to drive, come on now it's a muscle car!Jul 30, 2009

Squeaks and rattles, great acceleration, cheap repairs, lot of fun to drive, not a great gas saver. I'd recommend it as a Sunday driver to anyone who wants to have a fun ride on weekends. It's greater if you like to practice or have some mechanicalskills. Feb 28, 2009

plenty of power, handles good after some aftermarket parts installed, typical vette body gaps had to be fixed, mileage......not. easy to work on, but vette parts arent cheap. Awesome head turner, and a blast to cruise the freeway top down.Dec 29, 2008

The 1968 Corvette I have was voted the number one most sexy car in the world. Its got a 327 chevy SB with custom manifold dumped thru stock headers to a true dual glasspack exhaust. Running the 4 speed manual is a BLAST. The suspension is kind of soft at speeds, but is needed for the power of the 327 which is much quicker than the 350ci in my opinion. Sep 13, 2008

I believe ther 1968 and 1969 Corvettes are the finest examples workmanship and design that Chevrolet has ever produced. The sleek lines and amazing power make them a timeless thing of beauty. Comfortable cabins, good visibility, and more power than you can imagine. They corner with ease and continue to turn heads. Sep 24, 2007

My '68 is my adventure car that I use each year for my two week mystery trip. I have driven this car all over North America and it has never let me down. This car is really tight, even though it has just gone over the 104,000 mile mark. This year's trip was down to Long Beach and back up to Central Canada. The three day trip up IS-15 thru Vegas allowed me to 'buzz' the speedometer into the 100's before cutting off on IS-70 to Denver and trying out the sportscar ability of this model. The new 265/50/15 gripped the road as I threw the car into left and right hand corners. The four lane roadway allows effortless passing with limited amount of truck traffic, slowing the pace. Even reaching the 10,600 foot summit at Vail the engine had plenty of power and the Rochester carb never failed to keep its tune. Our travel time from Vegas to Denver was about nine hours with lunch and gas stops included, you do the math! The flatlands of Nebraska will make you wish you had cruise, but pedal driving past the eighteen-wheelers will make the hairs on your ass stand up and take notice. Happy to have those big brakes on the front when those suicide jockeys pull out to pass and your humming along about 90.
My only beef with the whole car is the steering wheel. The rim is to thin and the aluminium center bites into your finger if you try a quick 180 turn. A leather covered sport wheel would be on my wish list.Oct 19, 2006
