It does 0 to 60 in just under 6 seconds, the ride is a little rigid but it takes a corner as good as a new Corvette. The brakes stop perfectly, Nice rumble from exhaust, this is the car to drive if you want be noticedApr 09, 2015

It took a very long time to finish it a little over 3 years. A car like this, are never done any ways. It has a 355 with candfield heads and has about 400hp, 12 bolt 3.73 and a 700r trans with a 3000 stall. It was a frame off, everything came off and was cleaned or painted and put back together. This years project is to put the numbers matching 350 back in it. Apr 22, 2014

Just a fun car to own, complete frame off will help this car survive another 40 years or more.
Driving it you get more looks from others than $100,000.00 imports. making Improvements to
the original factory design like disc Brakes was easy also custom suspension parts just added
to the Camaro's handlingAug 30, 2013

Loved this car overall as my fifth Camaro I've owned. After going thru everything it ran and looked great winning trophies every time I entered it in car shows. As with most classics you have to be careful where you drive and park so it's not an everyday car but lot's of fun when you drive. Pin yourself in the seat acceleration, not so good braking or cornering. Great cruising summer car!Jun 12, 2013

i liked building and painting this SS, it takes about 2 years for me in my spare time working lots of hours each week on motor, bodywork, brakes , electrical, interior, and painting , wet sanding and polishing...not perfect but still a very nice driver.May 18, 2013

2/2012 Just put my optional drive train in it for a while. 396 / Saginaw 4 sp. crashbox. OH what joy. Pure good looks. Love to watch the NOx'ers drool. The bucket (w/o headrests) seats are very comfortable to me, but then I'm only 5'8"/150 lbs. Driver side floorboard irritating to passenger as part of it was driven 1 1/2" into the foot area years ago to get Dougman headers on it. Stability and stance are great, partially because the rear tires are mounted on "deep dish" station wagon rims (w/original hub caps) and the front is on early 70's chevy smoke grey 5 spoke mags. I bought this used in 1970 and it has been and is a real joy to have. It's still a driver and will stay so. I'm retired, so I really get to enjoy it now.Nov 12, 2011

Performance - The engine is a 454 from a pickup with long tube headers and Edelbrock carburetor.
Build Quality - Some of the trim pieces have come off inside and outside.
Appearance - The driver side door is a little warped and there is some surface rust under the car.
Cost of Ownership - We are going to have to put a lot of money into this car before it is road worthy.
Fun Factor - The transmission is set for drag racing so it is pretty fun but it does not have enough power to get it to go fast enough.Jun 29, 2011

I built a little 355 that has too much torque for the mono leaf rear. The wheel hop has busted the 4 speed, & is about to do a number on the rear end. I've done everything but the paint, I mean everything. Started out with a gutted back-half with every line & wire in boxes that someone else took apart. Exterior is complete, interior is painted waiting on upholstery. Very fun to drive, especially since I haven't had a license from 1998 to present. I have escorted the local law enforcement through my small town & into my driveway a few times. Always just enough ahead for me & a licensed friend or relative to be standing around laughing when they pull up. Until I see a photo of me behind the wheel, I'm not the one driving, EVER.....

I love it. My favorite car ever. I would recommend this car to anyone who loves the classic American Muscle car. All I can say is one thing - power. The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS can be used for cruising, commuting, or racing.Sep 27, 2010

Its a red first generation Camaro with over 500 hp, a muncie 4 speed and 3.73 gears. Whats not to like? I've had it since I was 13 and have completely restored it from the ground up. This car is definitely the most fun to drive.Apr 21, 2010

Black 1967 Camaro race-car, 406 c.i. small block chevy, powerglide transmission... gonna be a fairly slow car compared to all the other cars, probably gonna be running 6.10-6.20 in the 1/8th mile... not exactly sure on that but somewhere in that area. =] i love itNov 07, 2009

Original owner. looks like new inside and out. Runs like when I drove it off of the show room floor from Goods cevy in Alameda. it is fun to drive. Used as 2nd car for wife to shop with. Has been in garage most of its life. Cost of ownership is almost nil. No smog check required. Gas milage 19 in town and 21 on the road. Has 327 orig engine with 142,000 miles. Has aftermarket ignition system but original dist available. Has aftermarket power brakes from a 1998 chevy. has a center console that has been modified for an aftermaarket airconditionar that has since been uninstalled.
reason for selling? wife is now 84 years and I am 78. never drive camero any longer and dont need two cars anymore. camero has been sitting in garage most of the time for the last 10 years.Oct 24, 2009

My 1967 Camaro RS. This car has an all cast iron 540 with cast iron GM 990 heads and runs carburated on alcohol, GM 400 turbo trans and 4.11 gears. The best the car has ran is 9.07 @ 147mph with a 1.24 sixty foot time/ Aug 11, 2009

It's a red convertible. Almost all original. One thing i
don't like is that it doesn't have power steering. This
car is a nice show room car, not the greatest for
everyday driving. But if your driving in like a cruise
this car is one to get!Aug 06, 2009

This 67 Camaro was my high school muscle car that I purchased as a rusted out shell. I did all the work myself. I replaced the trunk pan, both floor pans, both quarter panels, and built a $4000 400HP chevy 350 4 bolt main race engine. This car killed Mustang 5.0 by the time I was shifting from 2nd gear to 3rd.Oct 06, 2008

Well i helped my dad rebuild it.... we imported it from the states and striped it and made it this hot Beast!!!!!
It was a real hunk of junk but a bit of TLC can go a long way!!! i love cruzing in it and the deep throb of the 350 engin is amazing.Aug 29, 2008

One of the coolest musclecar ever made. 502 cui big block. 500 bhp, 567 lb-ft, 5 speed manual gearbox. I love that great V8-sound. Recaro leather seats in front, and the Recaro-pattern in the rear seats. 13" and 12" brake ind front and back. Runs about 3 km / l. I'm loving it.Jul 31, 2008

67' RS/SS 427 Camaro. 500/500. Built for straight line speed while trying to maintain street manners. Owned since 83'. Many modifications through the years but retains all original sheet metal including original floorpans. Its a big hotwheels car, looks fast sitting still. Lots of SS, chrome and billet aluminum hi/po parts, some hand crafted, including full 3inch SS dual exhaust.

It's pretty much a freaking beast. 454 4 Speed with around 450 horsepower, crazy acceleration, sounds awesome, and looks amazing with the hide away headlights, white RS stripe, black paint and Torque Thrust II rims with the ZRI tires. Used to own a 1969 350 Chevelle but this car kills itJun 30, 2008

This car was great back in day and still is but needs to be restored, engine and transmission good for being 2 speed power glide. Lots of looks and handles well for 1960's suspension technology. Starts on first turn on key deluxe black interior with white seats. Deluxe gauges and tachometer. Bought for 7,000 worth 12,000 in current condition. May 18, 2008

This is a 1967 Camaro RS/SS. It was one of few made with an aluminum 427 cu.in. V8. It is pretty rough right now but will someday be an amazing car again. This is my favorite year of Camaro.Feb 11, 2008
