I owned a 1964 Chevrolet Impala 2-door hardtop, midnight blue, from 1964 (new) to about 1975. Automatic, v8, 327(?). The most beautiful car in the world still. May 08, 2022

I love my 1964 I built from ground up. Its cost me close to 30k but well worth it.my car has been up grade to modern with tubular arms. If you can afford to build or buy one made well be the best investment. Cause value goes up .its like money in the bank and lots of fun to have on a weekend go out to car show. And be proud of your classic every were you go people want to ask questions and look at it I love my impala.Dec 15, 2014

I found this jewel just browsing and had to make an offer. I would have haggled for it but the price was such a bargain I would have been crazy to not jump on it. Awaiting West Side touch then done deal.Jun 23, 2013

Great car rare convertible super sport 4 speed. Big mistake selling this one! Mine had some rust issues but parts easily available Mine was totally restored. I replaced the springs and exhaust system. Roomy even with buckets. Mine was blue black top black interior SS car. I have not seen another with a 4 speed always automatics. This is boxy I also had a 63 prettier but not a SS Vert!Apr 18, 2011

the headliner of these year of cars had tiny stars throughout, the engine is a 283 cu.in.,transmission is a 2sp automatic that could be shifted manually, like taken up to 50 miles an hour before shifting to 2nd and it didn't hurt the transmissionAug 14, 2010

I have always loved the 1964 Chevrolet Impala. What a great classy car especially the two door hard top. I am lucky enough to have bought mine from the original owner and the car is in show room condition without ever being restored. If you are looking for a great cruiser--keep the 1964 Impala in mind--you will be pleasantly surprised and turn many heads when you drive down the street. Mine is a head turner each time I drive it--It is much more popular that the 1964 Ford Galaxie and parts can be found very easily.Mar 25, 2010

Its a classic. What can you expect. Big Block Chevy motors have lots of power and can handle themselves on the streets just fine. The only problem is that they dont turn all that well. More of a straight line kind of car.Oct 08, 2009

327 4 speed Posi-track. This car was too fun to drive. I owned it for 34 years I had to quit driving it because I couldn’t afford the tickets. I gave it to my son, and he got it impounded.Aug 31, 2009

This was my very first car.... I loved it minus the x style frame that was rusted away when I bought it. Now I have the welding skills, too bad I don't have the car anymore. Ah, the sweet memories.Jan 16, 2009

All original one owner 1964 impala ss convertible. hard to beat that! Currently in my shop for an engine overhaul. Only 48,000 miles on the car. The car is in amazing shape. It only has a small bit of rust near the trunk. Interior is great, car is solid. I would drive it everyday if it wasn't so pristine.Jul 27, 2008

My brother this one. One summer he rebuilt the engine. He installed a floor shift (Hearst). It finally died on his way to California so he bought a Maverick station wagon. What a let down.Apr 12, 2008
