Ford put the key ignition on the left of the steering column so you may try and insert the key into the cigarette lighter if you're not thinking and you are right handed like me. The high beam foot switch never should have gone out of fashion. Feb 19, 2013

I have 2 62 Galaxie's and they are great cars, as for any car this old they need some work and a little TLC but otherwise they were well worth the time and money I spent on them.Jan 08, 2008
