Super fun to drive, everyone smiles at you in this car, duel exhaust gives this engine more power, new everything and the Black with Red interior makes for a great color combination. The rag top, opens the whole roof right up.Mar 06, 2015

This is a concept that Hitler got right when he said he wanted a cheap dependable car for the people of Germany that would carry a family of 5 at 60 mph. He nailed it.
Its a little dodgy driving with a cross wind at times.May 31, 2013

Oct 19, 2009

Best of both worlds? Looks from the past and upgrader performance, brakes, electrics make it nice to drive and seen in. Could do with a respray and new interior, though. Great fun, great noise, just demand caution in taking corners!Aug 28, 2009

Marmite, you love them or hate them. With
semaphore
indicators and a 36hp engine its not he most
practical
motor but certainly has character. A dip stick fuel
guage and a top speed of around 64mph you have
to have a passion for these.

ok so its 50+ years old and Hippys owned it in the 60's. It is the most recognizable car in the world. Ya it s slow, but when you are 50 lets see you do a 4 minuet mile? I love to dive it and even though it is slow It still get sthere. The ONLY time I have had it broken down on me is when I forget to flip the reserve switch. Yes I would get in the car today and drive it to the east coast if I had to.Aug 27, 2008

36 horse power! 1200cc engine! Cloth Sun Roof, Bulbs for headlights, no seal beames, Mach Nicht sticks (no blinkers), My dad paid $250 for it in 1963. Previous owner was asking for $275 but my dad said you have to get him down to $250 or no deal. The guy lowered the price by $25 to $250!!Dec 27, 2007
