Mercedes really does build a very nice car. It looks great and very comfortable and exciting to drive. I loved driving it on the winding hilly roads with the top down, if your a convertible fan then this is the car for you. It kept me nice and dry during the winter months and the heated and ventilated seats are awesome. Performance wise with the sports package it is short of amazing. It handles aggressively and hugs the corners like crazy. The "shiftamatic" system is like driving a manual without a clutch, pretty sweet.

Handles great. Very quick and responsive. Especially fun in the spring/summer months. Great for day to day needs. Good trunk space, even more when top is up. Not neccessarily ideal for large families, but great for individuals or couples.

Car is very attractive. Build quality, fit & finish excellent, inside and out. Handling excellent, ride quality stiff but comfortable. Comand system navigation somewhat cumbersome, but climate & audio functions intuitive & easy to use. Has ample power with decent gas mileage; transmission very smooth & seems to always select the proper gear for driving condition. unlike some other automatics. Car is a blast to drive on twisty troads.

Mercedes introduced the CLK convertible back in 02', and the have not majorly redesigned the CLK. As the last year of the A209 production, this second generation 09' CLK350 is not that much different from the previous ones. With a 3.5L V6 engine pumping out 268hp and 258tq, it needs just a tad more power to haul its heavy convertible mechanism. The seats are moderately comfortable for a car at this price range, while the interior design should have been updated a long time ago. The navigation is the hardest ever to use; even the BMW iDrive is more user friendly than the Mercedes Nav of this generation. In terms of driving, the pickup is pretty good for such a heavy car, and when the top is down, one could care less about how fast it goes. Overall this is a great vehicle but not worth its price tag, in my honest opinion.
