No Response For Temp Gauge But The Light Is On

no response for temp gauge but the light is on and when you starts the gauge will cycle -- did blow a hose and repalced that and the thermostat

I noticed going over speed bumps and dips, my car bottoms out. Suspension seems stiff and car doesn't drive as smooth and quiet. Wondering if this is the solution and how much does it cost?
